Indian Air Force held the Air Force Common Admission Test on February 26, 2017. After that, now IAF has announced AFCAT 01/2017 Result on April 8, 2017. The cut off fixed this time for AFCAT is 150 and for EKT it is 60.

The AFCAT Result 01/2017 contains roll numbers of qualified candidates. If your name is in the list, then first of all, heartiest congratulations. Now you can login to the candidate login and select dates for AFSB.

You are eligible for non-technical (flying/ground) branch if

  • You have cleared AFCAT 01/2017.

You are eligible for technical branch if

  • You have cleared AFCAT as well as EKT 01/2017.

Total number of candidates shortlisted on the basis of AFCAT 01/2017 Result is 16,822.

The result is in the form of a PDF file. It contains roll numbers, not necessarily in order or merit (marks or rank), but only in ascending order of roll numbers qualified. To search for your roll number in the list, you can scan the list or use Ctrl+F command in computer.

Important announcement for candidates whose roll numbers are in the AFCAT Result

Login to the account (candidate login at IAF website). There you will be able to select venue and date for Air Force Selection Board testing. This you must do by April 17, 2017.

Once you select dates you will be able to download call up letter and associated forms.

You must go to the assigned venue with call up letter and other forms that have been filled up.

In the case of candidates who have only opted for flying branch, the available centers are AFSB Dehradun, AFSB Mysore, AFSB Varanasi.

AFCAT 02/2017 is the gateway to Join Indian Air Force as Commissioned officers in Flying, Ground duty (Technical) and Ground duty (non technical) branches.
