Time Management
Time plays a crucial role in our lives, so does in the exams we give. Hence, candidates should ensure that once they are in the examination hall, they know how they are going to manage the time. Practicing the mock test is the best way to know how time management is done in exam.
Revision
When we say revision, it means going through the topics that candidates are already practising and learning. Referring to a new topic just before the exam is not suggested.
Planning
Here the planning means the way candidates screen their question paper. Once the candidate get their question paper, they should quickly go through it and identify, which question they can solve in first attempt. Avoid wasting time on one question, if candidates feel that a question they are working on is a time-taken one. They should immediately leave it and proceed to attempt the another one. Remaining questions should be done afterwards, keeping the provision of negative marking in mind.
Confidence is the Key
Candidates should keep in mind that the exam is going to have the questions that they are preparing for. Nothing out of the syllabus will come, nor does the exam pattern will change drastically. Hence, they should keep confidence in their preparation and leave all the worries out, before entering the examination hall.
Take Proper Rest
It is very important that the candidates reaches the examination hall, with fully fresh mind. To have a fresh mind, it is important that proper rest and food is taken before the exam. Fatigue while giving the paper might hamper the performance of the aspirants.
Do’s and Dont’s
- Do not count the number of attempted questions, it will lead to unnecessary wastage of time
- Focus on solving maximum correct questions
- Follow the rules mentioned in the AFCAT 2020 admit card
- Carry all the necessary documents to the exam hall, make sure that they are arranged a night before
- Reach the exam hall, at least 15-20 minutes before the reporting time. Do not get late
- There are chances that exam might get delayed, so instead of getting panicked stay calm and focus to give the best
