The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. AIIMS Delhi, the fore-runner parent excellence institution, was established in 1956. AIIMS is holding it’s Recruitment Examination for Nursing Officer that will be held on September 15, 2019 and the result of recruitment examination will be announced on September 24, 2019. Number of vacancies are not yet out by the AIIMS department but will be notified shortly. The willing candidates can register for the AIIMS Nursing officer Recruitment process 2019.  All the aspirants are requested to make sure that their education qualifications, age criteria and other conditions are up to the mark.

AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2019

All India Institute of Medical Sciences is holding a recruitment process of the post of Nursing officer. Through this exam, candidates can get admission in B.Sc nursing, B.Sc Post Basic nursing & M.Sc nursing courses. The admission will be offered by the AIIMS and its affiliated nursing institutions. All the information regarding the whole process is defined below.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the given eligibility criteria provided. Please make sure the candidates should fulfill the criteria before filling their candidature.

I. (i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing / Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council
(iii) Six months experience in minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.
OR
II (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council.
(ii) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife (RN Or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council.
(iii) Two and half years experience in minimum fifty bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned at II. (i) above.

Age Relaxation:

  1. Upper age limit shall be determined as on last date of receipt of applications.
  2. No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
  3. Age relaxation permissible to various categories is as under.
    Category Age Relaxation permissible beyond the Upper age limit.
    SC/ST 5 years
    OBC 3 years
    PH (ONE LEG) 10 years
    PH + OBC 13 years
    PH + SC/ST 15 years

4. Ex-Servicemen and Commission Officers including ECOs/SSCOs – for Group A & B posts – Five years subject to the condition that on the closing date for receipt of applications the continuous service rendered in the Armed Forces by an Ex-Serviceman is not less than six months after attestation. This relaxation is also available to ECOs/SSCOs who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years as on closing date and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues certificates that they will be released within 3 months on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment. Candidates claiming age relaxation under this para would be required to produce a certificate in the prescribed proforma to the Commission.

AIIMS nursing entrance exam is managed by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. For all the aspirants who wish to apply for the post of Nursing Officer can fill-up the application forms available on the official website of AIIMS, i.e. https://www.aiimsexams.org. Probably the applications forms will be out by March 2019 and the candidates need to fill the applications through online mode only.

Note: Candidates must make sure that the mobile number, e-mail address and other details are properly filled because no modifications can be made afterwards.

Application Fee:

The application fee will be Rs. 1500/- for general and OBC category. SC/ST candidates have to submit Rs. 1200/- towards the application form fee. Physically handicapped and orthopedic category candidates are exempted to pay the fee.

Admit Card

admit cards will only be issued to candidates who have submitted their candidature before the last date. after the admit cards are out, the student scan download the admit cards from the official website by logging in on https://www.aiimsexams.org.

Exam Pattern

The AIIMS Nursing Exam is held in the major cities of India. The test centers will be notified after the completion of applications forms deadlines. The test will be on 15th September, 2019 and the result will be out by 24th September, 2019. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes, i.e. 3 hours. There will be 200 MCQs each of 1 mark. One by three (1/3) marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The qualifying marks in Recruitment Examination will be 50% for General Category, 45% for OBC ad 40% for SC & ST.

Results

As per the official notifications by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the results will be out by September 24, 2019.  The results will be posted online. Students can log-in to the official websites to check the results.
