Age Limit – For all the post candidates meet the age of 18 year but not have completed the 30 years as on 1st July 2016.
Educational Qualification – The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2016, Intermediate or its equivalent and he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. For some posts where intermediate is not required, Industrial Training Institutional Certificate is necessary.
Selection Process – The final selection of the candidates (Men & Women) will be made strictly on relative merit, as obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination.

Application Fee: There is a fee of Rs. 300/- for OCs/BCs: and Rs. 150/- for SCs/STs for appearing in this Exam. The fee can be paid through Mee Seva/AP Online Centers.
Application Form Correction
Candidates who have submitted application form for the post of PC Civil, AR and Warder, Male and Female have contacted the helpline number and given e-mails submitting that they have submitted wrong information in some of the fields in the application form and want to change/ modify the submitted information.
It is informed to all such candidates that following 6 fields can’t be edited and no changes can be made:-
- Date of Birth
- Upload Photo
- Upload Signature
- Upload Community Certificate
If a candidate has submitted wrong information in any or all of the above 6 fields, he / she must submit a new application by making payment again through A.P. Online / Mee-Seva. lf he/she fails to submit a new application and participates in Preliminary Written Examination based on wrong information in any of above 6 fields, his / her candidature will be rejected even if he/ she clears Preliminary Written Test and comes to attend PM / PET with original certificates.
However, if candidate has made mistake in any other field he / she will be given an option to make corrections when he / she comes for attending Physical Measurements Test / Physical Efficiency Test after qualifying Preliminary Written Test.
Further, if any candidate has submitted more than one application form, he / she is requested to inform through e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org), which application form he/she wants to retain by quoting payment particulars and registration number. If not done so, the system will automatically reject his / her application form and he / she will not be issued hall-ticket. It is the responsibility of the candidate to submit correct information for obtaining correct Hall Ticket and SLPRB, A.P. will not be held responsible, if a candidate is not able to attend Preliminary Written Test for want of having correct Hall Ticket.

AP Police Constable Exam Pattern / Selection Procedure
Stage 1: Preliminary Written Test (only for RC. No.202//R&T/Rect.2/2016)
Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions). The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test in the paper is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs / STs / Ex-Servicemen.
Marks obtained in Preliminary Written Test will have no relevance in the Final selection which will be based on the marks obtained in Final Examination only.
Stage 2: Physical Measurements Test (PMT)
The candidate who qualifies in the Preliminary Written Test (if applicable) / submitted application form will be called for Physical Measurements Test. The Physical Standards are checked as per the requirement of the post.
Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature. All candidates declared qualified as above shall be required to appear for PET.
For the post code 25, 26, 27
1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run). Candidate must complete the run in 10 Minutes (12 Minutes 30 Seconds for women) or less.
For the post code 21, 53 & 54
Men and Women candidates must qualify in 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and one out of remaining two events as detailed below:
For the post code 22
Men & Women Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency Test which carries 100 Marks as detailed below:
Stage 4: Trade Test / Driving Test (only for Rc. No. 247/R&T/Rect.2/2016)
Trade Test / Driving Test consist maximum of 100 marks in ten parameters mentioned below, out of which at least 50 marks must be obtained.
Stage 5: Final Written Examination
For the post code 21,53, 54, 25, 26, 27: Candidates who qualify in the above shall be required to appear for the final written examination in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks.
For the post code 22: Candidates who qualify in the above shall be required to appear for the final written examination in one paper (three hours duration) for 100 marks (200 questions).
The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the written examination in the paper is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, 30% for SCs / STs / Ex-Servicemen.
Questions in the Paper will be objective in nature and will be set in English & Telugu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point pen only. For this purpose, candidates should bring Blue/ Black Ball Point pens along with them.
Stage 6: Final Selection
For Post Code Nos. 21, 25, 26, 27: The final selection of the candidates (Men & Women) will be made strictly on relative merit, as obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination for 200 marks for the candidates who qualified in Physical Efficiency Test.
For Post Code No. 22 : The final selection of the candidates (Men & Women) will be made strictly on relative merit, as per marks obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination (for 100 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks) totalling to 200 marks.
For Post Code Nos. 53 & 54: The final selection will be strictly on relative merit of the candidates in each category, as obtained by them based on their score out of a maximum of 200 marks in Final written examination (200 marks).
