Admit Card for AP Police SI RSI 2018

The Board of Police recruitment in Andhra Pradesh issued the PET/ PMT admit card for SI and RSI recruitment at slprb.ap.gov.in. The candidates who have qualified the written examination can download the admit card now. The candidates have to enter the registration number and date of birth. The only mode of downloading admit card is online. It is mandatory to carry the admit card in the examination.

Application Form for AP Police SI RSI 2018

Here the Board has put two separate periods for submitting the application form. The candidates who has opted for the post Sub – Inspector, RSL, Station Fire Officer, Dy. Jailor has to submit their application form before November 24, 2018. And the candidates who will choose the post Police Constable, Warder & Firemen have to submit the application form before December 07, 2018. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria prior to enrolling their name for recruitment.

Exam Pattern for AP Police SI RSI 2018

Only the examination pattern of these postcodes 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 are announced. The selection of the candidates will be done through the Preliminary examination, Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical measurement Test, and at last the medical examination of the candidates.

Preliminary Examination Pattern

There are two papers that candidates have to attempt. The both will hold indifferent shifts.

The candidates should note that the preliminary examination is just for screening purpose. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam will not have any role in the further recruitment process. 

Physical Measurement / Physical Efficiency Test

The candidates who will clear the preliminary test will have to download the intimation letter for appearing in the PET/ PMT. In PET/ PMT the candidates will be first measured as per the eligibility conditions for the recruitment. The height, weight, and eyesight of the candidates should match the norms laid down by the recruitment board.

Final Written Examination

The candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination, as well as the PET/PMT, have to appear in the final written examination. The maks obtained in the final written examination will be used in preparing the merit list. The scheme of examination is as follows.

In the final examination the paper I and II are qualifying n nature, The candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper III and IV.

Selection Procedure of AP Police Recruitment 2018

The selection procedure of AP POlice Recruitment includes three major steps.

  • Preliminary Written examination
  • Physical Efficiency Test / Physical measurement Test
  • Final Written Examination

In all above the recruitment process, the candidates have to qualify all. In order to qualify the preliminary examination, the candidates ahve to obtain the minimum marks decided by the Recruitment Board. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be added in the final merit list.

Minimum qualifying marks to qualify Preliminary Examination.

  • 40% marks have to be obtained by a general category candidate
  • 35 % marks  for OBC
  • 30% marks are minimum to be obtained by candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen

The second stage of recruitment is the PET/PMT the candidates have to qualify the exam. Here some of the postcodes (11, 14, 15, 16)  will be assigned the marks, where for some (12 & 13) of them, the examination will be qualifying in nature.

After clearing the above two stages the candidates have to sit in the final written examination which is objective in nature. In the final examination, there are four papers, in which two of them are qualifying i. e. (Telegu and English), And the marks obtained in paper III and IV will be calculated while preparing the final merit list.

Like Preliminary examination, The minimum qualifying marks are also predefined here.

Compilation of Merit List of AP Police SI RSI 2018

The final merit list will be compiled according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. As per the Andhra Givenermnet, First, the recruitment board will fill the first 30% of the vacancy with the combined merit list of locals and Non – Locals. The remaining 70% of the vacancies will be filled by only locals of Andhra Pradesh.

Here for different postcodes, the marks form which the merit will prepare shall different. The candidates will get the position in the merit as per the marks obtained by themselves.

Result of AP Police SI RSI 2018

After the completion of the exam, the recruitment board will release the result of the preliminary examination. The candidates who will appear in the exam will able to check their result. The candidates will require the login credentials to check the result. The board will disclose the result on slprb.ap.gov.in. The only mode of getting the result is online apart from that no other mode will not be available. After the declaration of prelims result the candidates ahve to appear in the PET/PMT, for this they have to download the intimation letter. The candidates ahve to subsequently participate in the final written examination. After each of the stage, the result will be declared on the official website of SLRB.
