APCOB Application Form 2016

Online registration of the application has been started. Interested candidates can apply online from the official website. Direct link to fill the application form is also available on this page.

Candidates are advised to fill the application form on time.

Application Fee

  • General / BC (application + intimation charges) – Rs. 500/-
  • SC/ST/PC (intimation charges) – Rs. 50/-

Payment of Fee

  1. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
  2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
  3. After submitting your payment information in the online application form, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE CHARGE
  4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
  5. Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
  6. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.
  7. For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
  8. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
  9. There is facility to print application form containing fee details after payment of fees.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Graduate from a Recognized University with an aggregate of 50% for Manager (Scale-I) and 40% for Staff Assistant

Note: The percentage of marks in graduation shall be arrived at by dividing the aggregate/total marks obtained by the candidate in all subjects, as graded by the concerned University/Board, with the aggregate maximum marks of the examination passed for all the years of the examination. In case, the Universities or Boards award marks in the form of Grades, such Grades will be considered to the equivalent percentage specified above as per the rules of the Universities or Boards.

  1. Desirable: Proficiency in Telugu language.
  2. Knowledge of English is required.
  3. Preference will be given to candidates with computer knowledge (as per assessment at the time of interview).

Age Limit

Above 20 years – Below 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1988 and later than 01.08.1996 (both dates inclusive)

A short note on exam admit card – All eligible candidates will be required to download call letters from the Bank’s website. The candidates should download their call letters from the Bank’s website http://www.apcob.org by entering his/her details, i.e., the Registration Number and Password/date of birth. SMS & E-Mail communication shall be sent to the candidates immediately after the call letters are made available for download, about ten days in advance of the date of examination Direct link to download the admit card will also be posted on this page.

Please note that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the Online Examination without the following documents :

Penalty for wrong answer

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Online Test Result for Manager Scale I and Staff Assistant has been announced.

Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Ltd. has been announced the list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for calling for interview to the post of Manager (Scale-I) and Staff Assistant. Online Exam was held on 15 Oct 2016.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the Online Test/Examination and interview. The Online Test/Examination will be conducted in English. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for the online test/ Examination, which will comprise the following :

  1. Online Test/Examination : 100 marks & Interview – 12.50 marks ;
  2. There shall be Negative Marking for wrong answers (0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer)
  3. Interview

Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective test. The passing marks in each of the test will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level.

Candidates are also required to score a minimum % marks on aggregate to be considered for interview. For SC/ST/BC/PC/EXS candidates 5% relaxation is available thereon. Minimum % marks on aggregate will be decided by the Bank. Marks obtained in the Online test will be reckoned for shortlisting for interview. Accordingly, candidates will be called for interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the Online test will be called for the interview in the ratio of 1:5. Mere eligibility/ pass in the test shall not vest any right for being called for interview. The list of candidates shortlisted for interview, will be made available on Bank’s website.

Final selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded, after adding the marks obtained in the Online test/Examination and interview.
