Admit Card of APSC CCE 2018
Admission certificate indicating the eligible candidate’s roll no., venue, and programme of the exam will be uploaded in the Commission’s website, for appearing in the Preliminary/Main examination. ) The mere fact that a certificate of admission has been issued will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Candidates may note that the Commission takes up the verification of eligibility conditions only after the candidates have qualified for the Main Examination.

Result of APSC CCE 2018
The result of APSC Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) Prelim Exam has been released after the successful completion of it. The Candidates who have qualified the prelims those have to appear for the main exam. Selected candidates will be called for the interview. On the marks scored by the candidates in Prelim, Main and Interview their result will be declared.
Exam Pattern of APSC CCE
The Combined Competitive Examination consists of two successive stages:-
Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination consisted of two papers of objective type multiple choice questions of two hours duration each.

Total Marks – 400 marks
- The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices
- OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet will be provided for answering questions
- Candidates could use only black ball pen.
- Use of Eraser, Chemical, Correction Fluid etc. for correcting options once marked in the OMR answer sheet is prohibited and answer sheets bearing traces of such use will not be evaluated.
- This Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only.
- The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the Candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining the final order of merit.

Main Examination
The Main Examination consists of (A) Written Examination and (B) Interview Test.
(A) Written Examination
Based on the results of the Preliminary Examination, the number of candidates to be admitted to the written part of the Main Examination will be 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies notified. The selection will be strictly on the basis of merit adhering to the norms of Vertical and Horizontal Reservation as per prescribed law in force.
The written examination will consist of the following papers of 3 hours duration each. The questions of the examination will be of conventional type:

- Anthropology & Sociology
- Mathematics & Statistics
- Philosophy & Psychology
- Agriculture & Animal Husbandry & Vety. Science
- Of the Engineering subjects not more than one subject
The Commission has discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the Examination.
(B) Interview Test: 200 marks
- The candidates will be interviewed by a board. The interview, however, will not have any qualifying marks. The marks scored in the interview will be added to the marks scored in the written Examination (Main) and the ranking of the candidates will be determined on the basis of the total marks obtained.
- Based on the results of the written part of the Main Examination the number of candidates to be called for interview will be about twice the number of vacancies advertised. The selection will be strictly on the basis of merit adhering to the norms of Vertical and Horizontal Reservation as per prescribed law in force.
- The Commission shall recommend exactly the same number of candidates for different posts as notified.
- The candidates will be allotted cadre strictly on the basis of merit cum preferences opted by candidates in their applications for the Main Examination.
- The Commission shall not recommend a candidate for a post which he/she has not opted for in his/ her preference.
Exam Centers of APSC CCE 2018
The Combined Competitive (Prelim.) Examination, 2018 will be conducted in the following centres of the newly created 9 (nine) districts of Assam which are given below. The candidates are requested to opt for the centres in the relevant column of the application form as per their requirement / convenience.

Selection Process of APSC CCE 2018
There are three stages of Selection:,
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Personal Interview
Candidates who will appear in the Prelims exam and qualified that exam can download the admit card for main exam (main examination). The main Examination consists of written exam & viva voce.
Qualified candidates in the main examination will be called for Personal Interview held by Assam PSC.
Candidates have to appear all the stages of Selection. Who fail to attend or miss any round will be directly disqualified from the selection process.

The percentage of reservations as prescribed by the Govt. of Assam are as follows:

Application Form of APSC CCE
Application form for APSC Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) Recruitment Exam is released at the official website. It is first released for prelims, and then for mains. Interested candidates can download APSC CCE application form by visiting the official website and submit it. Then those who qualify for mains only should fill and submit mains application form. Candidates must ensure eligibility before filling application form. Application Form must be filled and submitted on or before its last date. Application form will not be accepted if any candidates does not pay the application form fee.
Eligibility Criteria of APSC CCE
- Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen
- He/She should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age as on January 01, 2018.
- The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities established and incorporated by a Central Act or State Act in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.
- Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications.

- Persons with Disabilities should ascertain the post for which a particular category of disability is entitled for reservation as per the advertisement and should apply/opt for the preference accordingly at the time of filling up the forms for Main Examination.
