The ASRB Certificate is available at as asrb.org.in on April 02, 2019. The ICAR ASRB Result 2018 was announced on March 12, 2019. The Board has announced the result for the examination held from December 27 to 29, 2018. The exam takers can check their result through the direct link provided below. ICAR ASRB NET 2018
ASRB ICAR NET is an online exam, in 57 subjects. The standard of the exam is on par with the Master’s program. Before starting to look at any aspect of the examination, candidates must check all the important dates. Any changes in the dates will be updated in the table below.

ASRB NET Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria of ASRB NET mandatorily. If the candidates will not be able to satisfy even a single criterion, they will not be termed qualified.
Nationality – The candidates should be a citizen of India or any of the following:
Age Limit – The applicant should be more than 21 years old, as on July 01, 2018. There is no upper age limit.
Number of Attempts – There is no restriction on the number of attempts.
Education Qualification – The candidate should possess a Master’s degree in the respective required subject.
- However, the Master’s program has to be done in specified specialization.

ASRB NET 2018 Apply Online
Candidates will able to register through ASRB NET 2018 Apply Online link. The application form was available at asrb.org.in during the time indicated above. The candidates first have to register and then submit all details in the form. Along with the details about themselves, education qualification, work experience, the candidates also have to upload photograph/image in the form.
Application Fee: The fee amount for ICAR NET 2018 varies for each category. It can only be paid via Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card. The amount of fee is as follows:
- Unreserved (UR) – Rs. 1000
- Other Backward Class (OBC) – Rs. 500
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Divyang / Female – Rs. 250
ASRB NET 2018 Admit Card
Officially, the admit card is called as Admission Certificate. The admit card will be released online on the official website of ASRB. Generally, the admit card is being released 02 weeks prior to the examination. In order to download it, Roll Number and Date of Birth is required. The admit card is an important document to gain entry into the exam hall. However, with it, the candidates are also expected to carry one Photo ID proof and two photographs as well. These are equally important to gain entry.
A valid Photo ID can be:
- Voter Card/ Aadhar Card/ Passport/ Driver’s License/ PAN Card
The candidates should ensure that there is no error in the details on the admit card of ASRB NET 2018, else the candidature will be harmed. Also, if due to any reason, the candidate has been issued multiple admit card then they should only consider one and inform about the dual issuance to ASRB.

Exam Pattern of ASRB NET 2018
Candidates planning to appear for the examination should be familiar with the pattern of the examination. The pattern of the exam is as follows:
Mode – ASRB will hold the exam in online mode.
Duration – The candidates will get 2 hours to solve the paper.
Language – Candidates will take the exam in English and Hindi language.
Number of Question – There will be 150 questions in the exam. The questions will be of multiple choice type and only one answer option will be correct.
Marking Scheme – Each question will be of 1 mark. If a candidate chooses an incorrect answer option, deduction of 1/3 marks will be done as negative marking.

ASRB NET 2018 Cutoff
ASRB will select candidates on the basis of cutoff in the examination. The minimum qualifying marks in the exam area s follow:
- Unreserved (UR) – 50%, i.e 75 marks.
- Other Backward Class (OBC) – 45%, i.e. 67.5 marks.
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Divyang / Female – 40%, i.e. 60 marks.
ASRB NET 2018 Eligibility Certificate
ASRB will issue qualifying certificate to selected candidates. The issuance will be done within 3 months from the announcement of the result. The details in the certificate will be as submitted in the application form. It will be sent via post to the registered address. If a qualified candidate does not receive their certificate they should contact ASRB immediately.
“The NET Certificate is liable to be withdrawn/canceled if it comes to the notice of the Board at any stage that the candidate had fraudulently obtained the Certificate by furnishing wrong particulars in
his/her online application.” – ASRB
Once the Board issues the certificate, the candidates can apply for Lecturer/Assistant Professor jobs in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs).
