The application process of Credit Officer Recruitment 2018 in Bank of India consists of three important steps these are

  • Registering your Application
  • Payment of Fees
  • Uploading Scanned photograph and Signature.

Registering your Application: So for new registration, the aspirant needs to visit the official website, or they can click on the given link. Now you have to click on “Apply Online”  then you will be navigated to a new page. Then you have to click on the “Click here for New Registration“, here you have to enter the basic details. And by clicking on the “Save & Next” your registration will complete. Now you will get a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.

Payment of Fees: The next step is submitting the application fees, for that you need to check the application fee from here.

Now for making payment, you need to click on the “Payment” tab and now proceed to make payment. the payment could be made through the Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking. 

Uploading Scanned photograph and Signature: Now you have to upload your recent Passport Size photograph & Signature. For uploading image & signature you have to follow two different links. Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph / Signature“. After that upload the photo and signature one by one.

Size of Photograph & Signature should be according to given parameters those are:

  • The dimension of the photograph 200 x 230 pixels (preferred). 
  • Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb.
  • The dimension of the Signature 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
  • SIze of the signature file must be between 10kb – 20kb.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The candidate must be either Indian National.

Or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settle in India before January 01, 1962.

Or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit: The age limit is 21 to 30 years for the General Category candidate. Check the age relaxation from here for Credit Officer in Bank of India.

Age Relaxation

  • For SC/ST category candidates the age relaxation is given up to maximum 5 years.
  • The candidates who fall under OBC creamy Layer will get the relaxation up to 3 years.
  • And up to 10 years relaxation is reserved for the candidates who fall under the PWD category.
  • Ex-Serviceman will get up to 5 years of age relaxation.
  • And the persons who have ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during the period January 01, 1980 to December 31, 1989, will get 05 years of age relaxation.
  • The Persons affected by 1984 riots will get 05 years of age relaxation.

Educational Qualification: The candidates whoa rea applying for the post of Credit Officer in Bank of India should have these educational qualifications.

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General Category & 55% for (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) category in any of the course MBA/PGDBM/PGDM/PGBM/PGDBA from the recognized Institute(two/ three-year programme) / Post-graduation degree in Commerce/ Science /Economics.
  • Or should be a Chartered Accountant.
  • Or should be Company Secretary or ICWA.
  • A certification in a computer course for minimum three months OR Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterward is a must with any of the educational qualification mentioned above.

Note: The candidate who is applying for the post and is appearing in the final year of degree course should complete his/her degree on or before June 30, 2018.

Admit Card

Admit Card for Bank of India Credit Officer Recruitment 2018 has been released on the bank’s website. The admit card is also known as Call Letter. The call letter consists the general information about the examination and the venue of the examination. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the Bank’s website www.bankofindia.co.in by entering his/her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. One thing should be noted by the candidates that no call letter will be sent by post. The only medium of getting the call letter is online. The candidates can get the admit card on the Admit card page as well.

Examination Scheme

The test for the Credit Officer Recruitment in Bank of India will be conducted by the given scheme. There will be one test which is CBT and an Interview. The tests except for the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. The scheme of CBT is given below.

Interview: The interview for the recruitment will be done with only those candidates who will qualify the Computer Based Test. Some points to be noted here that Bank may conduct the selection process only on the basis of Interview without holding online test. At the time of the interview, the candidate should produce some documents.

  • The total marks allotted for Interview are 100.
  • Minimum qualifying marks for the general/unreserved category candidates will be 40% and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD is 35%.

Result

Recruitment result of the Credit Officer in Bank of India will be released in two parts first the result for the Computer Based Test will be released. After that, the Final Result of the Interview & recruitment will be published which is merit list cum result. Confirmation of Bank & Security Deposit

After all the exams, before the confirmation given by the bank, candidates might have to face another test hosted by Bank after selection. The bank may conduct separate written/online test prior to confirmation of Direct Recruit Officers in JMGS-I and his/her confirmation in the Bank’s services shall be subject to qualifying the said test as per the norms of the Bank.

After that, the candidates who will be selected will have to submit some security amount. Selected candidates will be required to deposit a specified amount as security deposit refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service. The said amount shall be forfeited in case he/she leaves the Bank before completion of 3 years.

Pay Scale of Credit Officer in Bank of India

The fortunate candidates who will be appointed as the Credit Officer in Bank of India Through the Recruitment 2018 shall be paid according to the Junior Management Grade Scale – I (JMGS I). The basic pay scale of the Credit officer will be 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020.

The above vacancies are inclusive of the backlog. There is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen
candidate in the officers’ cadre. The number of vacancies and also the number of reserved
