Bank of India Credit Officer Result 2018 – Bank of India (BOI) a leading Public sector bank invites applicants to apply for the Recruitment process for the post of Credit officers. Exam for the same has been conducted on June 10, 2018. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check Bank of India Credit Officer Result 2018 from this page. Selection of candidates at the post of Credit officer in Bank of India will be based on Online test and Personal interview. The online examination would be having three tests on the basis of which merit list would be released having the names of candidates who qualify for the personal interview round. Selection Procedure

The Bank of India Credit Officer selection will be based on online examination and the personal interview. Candidates will face three tests in the online examination on the basis of which merit list will be published. Merit list would act as the basis of selection of qualifying candidates in Interview round. Three tests that candidates would be appearing for in online tests:

  • English language
  • General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry
  • Financial Management

Result of online Test

Each of the tests is of 50 maximum marks. English test would be qualifying in nature and the marks obtained in English would not be considered for generating merit list. Qualifying marks stipulated will be for general category candidates only. Candidates belonging to (SC/ST/OBC/PWD), will be entitled to a relaxation of 5% marks in relation to that stipulated for general category candidates.

Result of Interview round

Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in online examination will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/GEN. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks and ranking sufficiently high in the order of merit list would be called for interview. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks for the general/unreserved category candidates will be 40% and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD is 35%.

Note: The Bank may conduct the selection process only on the basis of Interview without holding an online test. Accordingly, if the online examination is not conducted, a certain number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted for the interview based on their qualification, experience, and overall suitability for the post.

Merit List

Selection will be based on Online test and/or Personal Interview depending on the number of applications. If both the exams are held then merit list will be made having a combined 80:20 proportion of both the tests. A candidate should be found suitable both in the Online Examination and interview to be eligible for final selection. Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained will be prepared in descending order i.e. SC/ST/OBC/GEN.

Tie Breaker Criteria

If two candidates obtains same marks in both the exams the merit order would be based on the marks obtained in online examination and if they have obtained equal marks in online examination then preference would be given to Candidate who is senior in age.

Confirmation in Bank’s Service

candidates might have to face another test hosted by Bank after selection. Bank may conduct separate written/online test prior to confirmation of Direct Recruit Officers in JMGS-I and his/her confirmation in the Bank’s services shall be subject to qualifying the said test as per the norms of the Bank.

Security Deposit

Selected candidates will be required to deposit a specified amount as security deposit refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service. The said amount shall be forfeited in case he/she leaves the Bank before completion of 3 years.
