Result
The Bank of Baroda PO recruitment 2018 result has been declared after the exam date. The exam took place on July 28, 2018. And the results have been released at its official website. All the students can check the result by entering their login id and password generated at the time of registration. Please note that the result will be available for the candidates in pdf form and the candidate are advised to take a printout of the result page. The page might be required at the time of the interview. Keep the document safely.
Selection procedure
Candidates shall be selected by BOB through a selection process consisting of an (open) online exam followed by Group Discussion and Interview. The selection process aims at getting applicants who are likely to succeed at various roles in the Bank. The endeavor is to select people who are bright, have good communication skills (both oral and written), are dedicated, can work effectively in teams, are passionate about their career goals and who display integrity and a positive attitude.
Online test
Candidates must obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score in the online test. The candidates will be shortlisted after qualifying to the next level which is a Psychometric Assessment followed by a Group Discussion & finally a personal Interview. The candidates will be selected as per the number of vacancies. The cut off will be published based on the same criteria.
There will be descriptive paper (online) where the candidates will get two questions for a test of writing skill in English. There will be negative marks for wrong answers marked in the objective. For every wrong answer, 1/4th of marks will be deducted.
Psychometric Assessment (PA), Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview (PI):-
- The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in the Online Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 4 times the number of intake in each category, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Online examination, Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
- The Final merit list for selection shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in Online test (objective + descriptive), Group Discussion and Interview.
- In case more than one candidate scores the cut off marks (common mark at cut off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order.
- A candidate should qualify in all the processes of selection, i.e. Online Examination, GD and Personal Interview and sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for selection subject to the vacancies available under the respective category.

A candidate must be either a Citizen of India, Nepal and Bhutan.
- Educational Qualifications
A Degree (Graduation) with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
- Age Criteria
A candidate must have been born not earlier than July 03, 1990 and not later than July 02, 1998 (both dates inclusive).

Step I Personal details
Here in this step the candidates will fill the personal details like name , father’s name , mother’s name, mobile number, email id.
The mobisle number that the candidate will provide wil be used for the correspondence with the candidate for delivering the details in future
Step II Upload photograph and signature
Photograph Image:
- Photograph of the candidate must be a recent passport style colour picture.
- Make sure that the picture is taken against a light-coloured background preferably white.
- If you wear glasses there should be no reflections and eyes must be seen clearly.
- Any other ornaments like Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable.
- Religious headwear is allowed but should not cover your face completely.
- Dimensions in pixels 200 x 230
- The size of file should be kept between 20kb – 50 kb
- The file should not be more than 50kb.
Signature Image:
- The applicant has to be signed on a plain white paper with Black Ink pen.
- The signature should be of the applicant only.
- If the Applicant’s signature does not match the signature on the Hall Ticket on the answer script, at the time of the examination, the person will be disqualified.
- Dimensions in pixels 140 x 60.
- The size of file should be kept between 10kb – 20kb.
- The scanned image should not be more than 20kb.
Step III Payment
The candidates after completing the formalities must begin to proceed to the payment of the fees for completion of the application form. Please remember that the application fees can be paid online only through Debit card or Credit card. The candidates have to check the amount of the fees they need to pay as per their selected category. The Screen will display the amount to be paid by the applicant as per his/her category selected in the form. The candidates must be able to produce the documents in original at the time of interview or else their recruitment will be terminated. Please check the fees to be paid by the applicants.
