How to check BSF Result 2020
Results of the BSF 2020 recruitment for 317 vacancies in the Water Wing are published at the website of the BSF after the completion of all the selection events. The results are released in the form of a final merit list of selected candidates for final appointment. Applicants must qualify through all stages of the recruitment, including the written test for final selection. Follow the simple steps given below to check the results as per schedule.
Step 1: Open the website of the BSF. The website is available at bsf.nic.in.
Step 2: Under the “Recruitment” tab click on “Result”.

Step 3: Click on the final result link for the recruitment. The link is available after the exam as per the schedule.

Step 4: The final merit list is displayed indicating the name and roll number of candidates who are selected for appointment.
Selection process of BSF 2020 recruitment
Applicants are to be selected based on their qualification through all the stages of the recruitment. The entire selection process is carried out through two phases. Applicants are issued admit cards separately for both the stages. Check out the details below.

Phase I
The preliminary selection is through the written examination at the phase I. Candidates qualifying in the phase I exam are to be issued call letters for appearing in the phase II exam. The syllabus and exam pattern of the examination is indicated in the official notification of the BSF.
Phase II
The phase II of the recruitment consists of the stages of documentation, physical standard test, physical efficiency test, trade test, and final medical examination. Candidates have to qualify through all the stages for final selection.
Documentation
Candidates qualyfing through the written exam are required to produce the original certificates as testimony for their eligibility. Candidates must have the documentrs to support the information furnished in the application form.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates are to be assessed for the eligibility in terms of the physical standards as specified by the BSF for recruitment. All candidates have to mandatorily comply with the specified standards to appear in the subsequent stages. Check out the minimum physical standards below.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates have selected through the performance in a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) where they have to complete specified events of the PET. All candidates must mandatorily complete the events to be eligible for subsequent stages.

Trade Test
Candidates have to appear in a trade test before the final medical examination. The evaluation is to be carried out on the basis of the knowledge and experience of the candidates in their respective technical trades as selected for application by the candidates. Applicants of the CT (Crew) post are also required to undergo a swimming test.
Medical Examination
Medical test of the qualifying candidates is to be carried out at the final stage to examine the medical suitability of the candidates to serve in the BSF. All candidates must be declared FIT by the medical officer. Candidates can appeal for a Review Medical Examination after being declared UNFIT within 15 days. The final decision of the medical board after the reevaluation will be final.
Minimum qualifying marks of BSF 2020 exam
The written exam at the phase I of the selection process is for a paper of 100 marks. All applicants are required to appear in the exam on the scheduled date. Candidates qualifying in the written exam are eligible to appear in the phase II examinations. In order to qualify, examinees must secure the specified minimum qualifying marks in the exam.
