CBSE NET 2017 Admit CardUGC NET November 2017 Admit Card will be issued to registered candidates in October 2017. Most pprobably, it will be provided 10-15 days before the examination. Central Board of Secondary Education will issue the admit card on the official website at

This will be the only medium to collect admission tickets. No admission cards will be sent to the candidates by post. The candidates should download their admission cards from the website to ascertain their venue of the Test as mentioned in the Admission Card and appear in the examination only at the designated examination center. You are not allowed to appear at the examination center other than that allotted to you in the admission card.

The Admit Card for the CBSE NET 2017 November Admit Card will be available for download form 1 week before the exam. The tentative dates are 30th October 2017 onwards. The entrance exam will be held on 05 November 2017.

CBSE NET 2017 Admit Card

CBSE also sends an intimation on the candidate’s registered mobile number and email id regarding the availability of the admit card. The candidates can either follow the link in the email or visit the official website to download the admit card. Candidates can follow the steps to download the hall ticket.

Steps to download the Admit Card 2017

  • The link to download the admit card will be available a week before the exam or earlier
  • Candidates shall have to enter the details as asked
  • First of all Application Number will be required and then
  • Password must be entered (see the image a shown below)


Step by step guide to retrieve password if forgotten

  • Click the link “ I can’t access my account? ”
  • Please select any of the option from “I forgot my Password or I forgot my Application Number “

If selected “I Forgot my Password”

Selecting the link, you will be given 3 options to pick from:-

  1. Using Security Question & its Answer you have chosen during Form filling
  2. Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.
  3. Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address

What Information will the CBSE NET 2017 Admit Card contain?

The CBSE NET 2017 November Admit Card that the candidates will take to the test center should be kept in good form. It will contain the following details:-

 What to do After Downloading the UGC NET 2017 Admit Card?

Candidates who obtain the admit card must take at least 2 prints of the hall ticket in case one is misplaced. After that, the candidates should paste an identical photograph on the admit card as they uploaded at the time of filling the application form.

Stationary Requirement – Candidates DO NOT need to carry any stationary with them. The centre will provide the candidates Black Ball Point.

Special Note  Avoid carrying any extra bags, electronic gadgets, valuable items, calculators etc.

Exam Scheme

The Test will comprise of 3 papers and in three separate sessions discussed as under

Second II 100 50 1¼ Hours (11:15 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.)
Third III 150 75 2½ Hours (02:00 P.M. to 04:30 P.M.)

(i) Paper-I= shall have 50 questions each worth 2 marks. Total marks for this section will be 100. The paper will be intended to assess candidate’s teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, divergent thinking and general awareness.

(ii) Paper-II= will have 50 objective type questions ( 2 marks each) based on the subject that the candidate selects.

(iii) Paper-III= will comprise of 75 multiple choice questions ( 2 marks each). Total marks for this section will be 150.

All the questions of Paper II and Paper III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus provided on the website. The candidate will have to indicate their responses for questions of Paper I, Paper – II and Paper III by shading the circles on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet dark. The same has to be done using only BLACK BALL POINT PEN.
