The CBSE UGC NET 2017 Result is to declared by CBSE for the November Session online at its official website. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can check their result by entering their Application Number, Roll Number, and Date of Birth in the specified fields. Soon after the declaration of UGC NET Result, the candidates can check their marks on CBSE website. The CBSE is only responsible for conducting and declaring the result of UGC NET November 2017 and other than that, the CBSE will not issue any marks sheet to qualified/non-qualified candidates. However, the E-certificate will be issued to the qualifiers of the exam by UGC NET Bureau. UGC NET 2017 Result

Approximately 9.30 lakh candidates registered for UGC NET 2017, out of which, 409439 male, 519557 female candidates and 3 transgenders registered for the exam. Last year, around 3,650 qualified for JRF and Assistant Professorship out of a total of 22,381 candidates. The date for declaration of CBSE UGC NET Result 2017 is not yet available. How to Check UGC NET Result 2017?

To check the CBSE UGC NET Result 2017, the candidates will have to follow the steps below.

  1. To check the result for UGC NET 2017, scroll up the page to access the link that will direct you to the login window.
  2. Next, fill in the required login credentials such as Application Number/ Email ID, Roll Number, and Date of Birth.
  3. Single-click the “Submit” tab to open the result.
  4. The candidates may download and take a print out of the result. Printed on the UGC NET Scorecard

The Scorecard of CBSE UGC-NET generally includes the following details:

UGC NET 2017 Qualifying Criteria

The leading 6% candidates amongst the test takers in the order of merit will be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor. The calculation for the subject-wise and category-wise distribution of slots can be done by using the formula as given below, which is also applicable for JRF.

Number of candidates who have opted for JRF and are qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor in that subject × No. of slots available under General (UR) category ÷ Total No. of General (UR) candidates who have opted for JRF and are qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor.

UGC NET 2017 Cut Off Marks

The aspirants will have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks/ cutoff marks in aggregate of all three papers (Paper 1, Paper 2 & Paper 3) to qualify the UGC NET offline entrance examination. The table given below shows the required cutoff category-wise.

UGC NET 2017 E-Certificate

The CBSE is only responsible for up to the conduct of NET Examination and declaration of its result. The UGC -NET Bureau issues the e-certificates to the qualifiers of the UGC NET. UGC NET 2017 Merit List

After the declaration of UGC NET Result 2017 for November Session, the exam conducting body will prepare a merit list. The preparation of the merit list is on the basis of the aggregate marks of all the three papers as secured by the aspirants. Also, a separate merit list will be prepared for the award of JRF amongst the qualifiers of NET.
