CCRH LDC & Jr. Stenographer Recruitment 2016

Total No. Of Vacancies – 25

  • Lower Division Clerk – 22 (UR-14, SC-2, ST-1 & OBC-5)
  • Junior Stenographer – 3 (UR-02 & OBC-1)

Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.

Education Qualification – 12th Pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Selection Process – The Selection for LDC & Jr. Steno Posts will be made through written test & skill test.

Application Fee – For General & OBC category is Rs. 100/- and for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates/Ex-servicemen is Nil.

Steps for Online Submission of Applications/Registration

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be 12th Pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit – 18 to 27 years. Age relaxation will be as per Government of India rules.

CCRH LDC & Jr. Steno Admit Card 2016

Admit Card for CCRH LDC & Junior Stenographer Recruitment 2016 is made available on official website after the successful completion of Application form process. Those who fill their application on or before the last date can download their Admit Card for written exam online.

CCRH Exam Pattern

Written Test of 120 Min. (160 Min. For Visually Handicapped / Cerebral Palsy candidates) is conducted for 200 marks. Question paper contains 200 questions of one mark each.

Skill Test For Lower Division Clerk Post

A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (Time allowed 10 minutes). Visually handicapped (VH) candidates (with 40% disability and above) will be allowed 30 min.

Candidates who opt to take the Skill test in Hindi will be required to learn English Typewriting and vice-versa after their appointment.

Skill Test For Junior Stenographer Post

Diction : 10 Min @ 80 words per min.
Transcription : 50 min (English). 65 minutes (Hindi).

Candidates who opt to take the Skill test in Hindi will be required to learn English Typewriting and vice-versa after their appointment.

Visually Handicapped candidates (with 40% disability and above) will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 min for English shorthand or in 100 min for Hindi Shrothand.

Notice for Revision in evaluation of Written Test held on 12 Nov 2016: Reference is invited to written test held on 12 November 2016 for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerk and Junior Stenographer and the Answer Keys to the Multiple Choice Question papers uploaded on the website on 18 November 2016.

The Council received suggestions from candidates in respect of Answer Keys of Multiple Choice Questions for the post of Lower Division Clerk. The suggestions have been considered by the Council and it has been decided:

Accordingly, the evaluation will be done for 191 Questions as per the following formula:

  • Let X be the maximum marks as per Question paper (Marks will be out of 200)
  • Let Y be the marks for Questions Dropped (i.e. 9 marks)
  • Let M be the marks obtained out of X-y (i.e. out of 191)

Final Marks iScaled Marks of candidates will be: (M/(X-y))*X

Result for CCRH LDC & Jr. Steno Recruitment Exam 2016 is released online. Candidates can check their Result of Recruitment written exam held as per the schedule after the successful conduction of examination.

Selection Process

The Selection for the post of Lower Division Clerk & Jr. Stenographer will be made through written examination consisting of MCQs and the Skill test (Typing Test / Dictation and Transcription).

Candidates, in the order of merit, will be called for skill test in the ratio of 1:5 (LDC) & 1:10 (Stenographer). Skill Test will be “Qualifying in nature” and the performance in the Skill Test will not be considered in preparation of the final Merit list.
