Students' Reaction After CDS 2018 Exam

CDS Student Reaction 2018: The exam for the Combined Defense Services 2 was scheduled on November 18, 2018, and now all the shifts are over now. The First Paper of CDS 2 Exam (English) was conducted from 09:00 am to 11:00 am and Second Paper of CDS 2 Exam (General Knowledge) was from 12:00 noon to 02:00 pm. The third and last Paper of CDS 2 Exam (Math) held from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm respectively. Some students are happy with the English exam and some are saying that the exam was difficult, and the same goes for GK and Maths. CDS Student Reaction 2018

The candidates must possess the minimum qualifying marks to get selected. The criteria are set by the Union Public Service Commission both in written as well as in the SSB Interview/ Personality Test.

CDS Student Reaction 2018 for First Paper of CDS 2 Exam (English):

At 11:05 AM: The exam is over now, see what candidates are saying about the exam.

At 08:00 AM: Students were gathered at the exam center for the first Exam English, started at 09:00 AM

At 08:15 AM: The candidates were desperately waiting for entry in the examination center.

At 08:30: AM: Students have given the entry in the examination after checking their Valid id proof and admit card. Inside the exam center, they were checked thoroughly.

CDS Exam Pattern 2018

In CDS 2018, UPSC asks the multiple choice questions. No descriptive paper is there in this exam. For General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics, the questions use to be asked in English and Hindi both. Important Points for UPSC CDS 2018 Exam

For the CDS 2018 exam, the Union Public Service Commission has provided some important instructions. You can check the same from the points given below:

  • For the wrong answers, there will be a negative marking of 1/3 of assign marks. Each question carry 0.833 marks so the negetive marking will be of 0.833/3
  • If you have marked more than one answer for a particular question then there will be a negative marking of 0.33 Marks.
  • For the unattempted question, there will be no negative marking and no marks will be awarded.
  • The qualifying marks for CDS 2018 has been set by the Union Public Service Commission.
  • Calculators are not allowed in the exam hall.
  • To mark the answer, you can use the black ball point pen only.

Interview Process

The candidates who will qualify the written exam will be called for the interview process to check the intelligence and personality test. It will be conducted for the post of the Interviewing Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist. The process is divided into two stages i.e. Stage-I and Stage-II.

Final Selection of the Candidates

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the written test and the interview process. The candidates will have to obtain at least the minimum qualifying marks then they will be examined through the interview. Those candidates who will qualify both rounds will finally get selected.
