Registration for CTET 2020 started on January 24 and will continue upto February 24, 2020. Those who have not yet registered themselves, can do the same by visiting the official website of CTET, which is ctet.nic.in. On left hand side of the page under the “Current Events” tab, candidates can find the “Application Form for CTET JULY 2020” option. As soon as they click on it, a page will open, where candidates will get the option to register themselves and then to fill the application form. As shown in the screenshot below:
Mistakes To Avoid During CTET 2020 Registration
While filling the form candidates should keep certain things in mind, as to not commit a mistake that might lead to the form rejection.
Mistake #1 – Not Providing the Correct Details: While filling the forms, candidates should ensure that whatever information they fill is correct and matches with the supporting certificates. Candidates should add their name, nationalty, date of birth, educational qualification without making any spelling errors. Any discrepancy in the provided information might lead to the rejection of candidature.
Important to Remember: If by chance, a candidate has made a mistake and realise it after submitting the form, then they can correct the same when correction window is open. For CTET 2020, correction window will open from March 17, 2020 to March 24, 2020. No corrections will be accepted, once the window is closed.
Mistake #2 – Not Meeting the Eligibility Criteria: Before candidates even start filling the form, they should go through the prescribed eligibility criteria. In case a person does not meet the specific criteria, they won’t be allowed to appear in the exam. Or even if they are allowed to appear, they will face problems later.
Mistake #3 – Waiting for the Last Day to Apply: Window to fill the application form of CTET 2020 is open, hence the interested students should start filling their form, without waiting for the last date to arrive. Chances are high that during the last day, there might a technical breakdown or some other issues, due to which a person is unable to fill the form.
Mistake #4 – Filling Multiple Forms: Candidates who are filling the CTET 2020 application form, should keep in mind that they are not allowed to fill multiple forms. It is clearly stated by the authorities that filling the multiple forms, might lead to the candidature rejection. Such candidates might also get debarred, to sit in the future examinations, without being informed.
Mistake #5 – Sharing Passwords: Once the candidates have registered themselves and created their login, they should avoid sharing the password with anyone. After filling the form, candidates should logout, to ensure that no unauthorized person is able to access their personal information.
