Delhi Judicial Service Exam Application Form 2019 is available in the official Delhi High Court website. The candidates who are not more than 32 years of age are eligible to apply. The general category candidates are required to pay Rs 1000 (Rs 200 for SC/ST/PWD) as application fees. The preliminary examination will be conducted at first, and then the answer key and result releases for the same, then the main exam will be conducted for the selected candidates. Application fee for Delhi Judicial Service Exam 2019

It is mandatory to pay the application fees for all the candidates whether they are general or the category candidates. However the application fees varies for category candidates as follows.

Mode of Payment

The candidate will have to pay the fees through the online mode of payment only. The fees can be paid via the Debit Card or the Internet Banking.

Application Form for Delhi Judicial Service Exam 2019

The application form is online so the candidate need not have to fill the application form in paper mode. The candidate will have to fill personal as well as educational details in the form.

Before proceeding to fill the registration form, candidates must have the following pre-requisites ready:

  • Valid e-mail ID.
  • Scanned recent Passport size photograph of the candidate in prescribed format.
  • Scanned signature of the candidate in prescribed format.
  • Details of Qualification and Experience.
  • Debit Card/Internet Banking for payment.

How to Fill the Application Form?

Step 1: Visit the official website or click on the link provided above. There search for the tab New Candidate to Create Log In.

Step 2: Register by entering the following details.

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email-Id
  • Password
Delhi Judicial Service Exam Registration

The details to your login such as login id and password will be sent to the email Id you provided during the registration. The login id will be same as the email Id of the candidate.

Step 3: Fill the application form by entering the essential information asked such as address, educational qualification and other details.

Step 4: Upload the scanned copy of the passport size photograph and the signature in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Make the payment of fees using the online payment method. The candidates can take printout of Application and keep it for future reference. They need not send the print out of the online application to the High Court

Guidelines for scanning the photograph & Signature

While applying online, in the preview of the form, the candidate’s Photo and Signature must be clearly visible to candidate, if photo/signature image is small in size or not visible in preview on website, then it means that the photo/signature is not as per the prescribed format and your application will be rejected. Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Judicial Service 2019

The foremost requirement to give the exam is to pass the eligibility criteria. The proof of eligibility may be asked at any stage of the recruitment and the candidate failing to provide the same will be rejected. The eligibility criteria as decided by the High Court of Delhi is as follows.

  • The candidate must be a Citizen of India;
  • A person practicing as an Advocate in India or a person qualified to be admitted as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961 is eligible to apply

Age Limit

Applicant must not be more than 32 years of age as on January 01, 2020. However relaxation in age is provided to category candidates or PWD candidates

Age Relaxation

  • In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes, the upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years.
  • The upper age limit is also relaxable maximum by 5 years in the case of Ex-Servicemen.
    • The Short Service Commissioned officers who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency; or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalidment.
  • The upper age limit for persons with disabilities is relaxable by 10 years.
    • General category disabled candidates would thus be eligible for age relaxation up to 10 years and SC/ST category disabled candidates would be eligible for age relaxation up to 15 years.

Corrections in the Application Form for Delhi Judicial Service 2019

There is no provision for corrections in the application form. The details once entered and if the application form is submitted then they cannot be changed. So the candidates are advised to take utmost care while filling the details in the online application form. No request to change the details in the application form via email or any other mode will be entertained.

Admit Card for Delhi Judicial Service 2019

The admit card will be released on the official website (delhihighcourt.nic.in). The candidates are required to enter the login id which is same as the email Id you entered during registration and the password and download the admit card. The details about the exam date, reporting time and the duration of the exam all will be mentioned on it. It is mandatory to carry the printed form of the downloaded admit card to the exam hall.

Q. What is an auto generated Application Number?

A. An auto generated Application Number is a unique number allotted to you on successful submission of online application form and will appear on print version of the application form.

Q. What if I forgot my login Id and password?

A. The login details are important as filling of application form, admit card, and the result will be released in this. The login Id is same as your email id so you need not worry about that. Also the password you entered will be sent to your email Id so you can refer to that in such a case.

Q. How to check the application status?

A. The confirmation of payment can be treated as the successful submission of the application form. Also a auto generated Application Number will be allotted on successful submission of application form.
