Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has the released the notification for the recruitment of the various posts. DSSSB 02/2017 is going to be conducted for the candidates seeking job opportunities in various departments of Government of Delhi. The online applications were invited for the selection of eligible candidates to 15,044 vacancies for the concerned posts. Candidates can apply through the official website of DSSSB i.e. dsssb.delhigovt.nic.in. DSSSB 02/2017

Candidates applying for the DSSSB 02/2017 must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the Board for the concerned posts. Candidates can apply through the online mode and as per the scheduled dates only. The candidates will be recruited on the basis of the total scores obtained by the candidates in all the stages of the selection process. Candidates who will be willing to appear for the DSSSB 02/2017 must go through the important dates regarding the examination as given in the table below:

Corrigendum Notice Regarding Vacancies

The eligible candidates will be recruited for the various posts on the basis of the available vacancies for the concerned post and scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. The total number of available vacancies are 15,044 vacancies for various posts. The list of the category-wise vacancies for the following posts is as follows:

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the One Tier and Two Tier examination followed by the Skill Test, wherever applicable. The board will conduct these two examinations for the post codes as per the prescribed examination scheme. The candidates need to qualify both One Tier and Two Tier examination to be called for Skill test. The final selection will be based on the scores obtained by the candidates in both the stages.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, the candidates need to satisfy all the relevant eligibility requirements for the recruitment to the concerned posts. The eligibility criteria for the candidates are as follows:

Junior Engineer (Civil)

Educational Qualification – Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognised Institution/University

Age Limit – Candidates must have minimum 18 years of age and maximum 27 years of age.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

Educational Qualification – Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from recognised Institution/University

Age Limit – Candidates must have minimum 18 years of age and maximum 27 years of age.

Patwari (Only for Male)

Educational Qualification –

  • Candidates must be passed in 10+2 with Maths and in one-year Diploma Course in Computer.
  • Apart from this the candidates who have done Graduation in any discipline or Diploma/Certificate Course in Cadastral Survey Total Station Method Survey.

Experience – There is no essential experience required but the candidates can have the desired one year experience in Cadastral Survey Total Station Method Survey.

Age Limit – Candidates must have minimum 18 years of age and maximum 27 years of age.

Legal Assistant

Educational Qualification – Bachelor Degree in any subject with Bachelor’s in law or Five years integrated graduate degree in law from a recognised University/Institute.

Experience – There is no essential experience required but the candidates can have the desired two years experience as Legal Practitioner or experience in handling legal work in a Government Department.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Special Educator (Primary)

Educational Qualification –

  • The Candidates must be passed in 12th standard and Two years Diploma in special education recognised by Rehabilitation Council of India in any category of Disability or equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
  • Apart from this, the candidates must be pass in Central Teacher Eligibility conducted by CBSE.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Teacher (Primary)

Educational Qualification –

  • Candidates must be passed in 10th Standard with Hindi or English and 12th Standard with English.
  • Candidates must have a Two years Diploma/Certificate course in Elementary Teacher Education Course/Junior Basic Training or equivalent or Bachelor of Elementary Education
  • Candidates must have qualified in CTET

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Special Education Teacher

Education Qualification – Candidates must be a Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed with a Two-year Diploma/Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Special Education or equivalent course. Apart from this, the candidates must have qualified in CTET.

Age Limit – Candidates must be below 30 years.

Assistant Teacher (Nursery)

Education Qualification – Candidates must be passed in 10+2 and Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education Course or B.Ed (Nursery).

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Assistant Teacher (Primary)

Educational Qualification –

  • Candidates must be passed in 10+2 with 50% marks with two-year Diploma in elementary education or 4 years Bachelor of elementary education or 2 years Diploma in Special Education or Graduation and 2 years Diploma in elementary education.
  • The candidates must be passed in CTET and in Hindi or English or Urdu or Punjabi as a subject in Secondary level.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Physical Education Teacher

Education Qualification – Candidate must Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education or its equivalent.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Drawing Teacher

Education Qualification – Candidates must have 5 years Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art or Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in  Drawing and Painting/Fine Art along with the 2 years Diploma.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

Domestic Science Teacher

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor in Education with Domestic Science/Home Science and passed Hindi as a subject in 10th Standard.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

PGT (Home Science) – Female

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have M.Sc (Home Science) or B.SC (Home Science) and B.Ed.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 36 years of age.

PGT (Physical Education)

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must be Bachelor of Physical Education or Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports with minimum 55%.
  • Masters of Physical Education from any National Council for Teacher Education recognised Institute.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.

PGT (Fine Art)

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must be Bachelor in Fine Arts or Higher /Intermediate/Sr. School Certificate exam with 5 years Diploma in Fine Arts.
  • Candidates must be a Graduate with Drawing and Painting with 4 years Diploma.
  • Masters in Fine Arts/Drawing and Painting with 2 years Diploma.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 36 years of age.

PGT (Music)

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have M.A (Music) or M. (Music) of any recognised University.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 36 years of age.

TGT (English, Maths, Natural Science, Social Science)

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised University with minimum 45% in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Natural / Physical Science
  • Social Science

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 32 years of age.

TGT (Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu)

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have B.A (Hons.) in Modern Indian languages or equivalent Oriental Degree or should have qualified CTET from CBSE.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 32 years of age.

Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselor

Educational Qualification – Master’s Degree in Psychology with Diploma in Guidance and Counselling

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 36 years of age.

Music Teacher

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have B.A Degree with Music as one of the subjects from a recognised University or Higher Secondary with one of the following:

  • Sangeet Visharad examination of the Gandharva

  • Final examination of the Madhya Sangeet Mahavidyalaya

  • Highest examination of Baroda state school of Music.
  • The final examination of Shankar Gandharva Vidyalaya,

Gwalior.

  • Sangeet Ratan Diploma awarded by the Director,

Department of Education MP.

Age Limit – The candidates must not exceed 32 years of age.

Application Process

Eligible candidates need to fill the application form for the DSSSB 02/2017 examination. The application forms will be available online on the official website of DSSSB i.e. dsssbonline.nic.in. Candidates can apply through the online mode only as no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates are required to complete the application process between the above-mentioned dates only as after the last date, the system will be automatically disabled and will not accept any applications.

Admit Card

After the successful application, the candidates will their Admit Card before the day of examination. The admit card will be available on the official website of DSSSB i.e. dsssb.delhigovt.nic.in. The candidates can download the admit card by entering the login credentials such as application number and date of birth from the official website. The admit card will consist of all the information regarding the examination such as exam venue, date, time etc. The candidates will have to carry the admit card on the day of the examination.

The Exam Pattern will consist of One Tier and Two Tier examination for the post codes as per the prescribed examination scheme:

Declaration of Result

The result will be declared for the candidates appeared in the examination. The result will be upload on the official website of DSSSB as per the scheduled dates only. The result will consist of the scores obtained by the candidates in the examination. Candidates can check their result by using their roll number and password at the official website. Candidates who will qualify both One Tier and Two Tier examination will be called for the Skill Test as per the requirement for the concerned posts. Candidates need to qualify all the stages of the selection process and on the basis of their scores obtained, they will be recruited for the concerned post.
