The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination shall be carried out by the NBE on December 04, 2020 as a computer-based test at various centers across the country. It is a screening test for foreign medical graduates who seek to register with the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council. The State Medical Council SMC will register a student with foreign medical qualifications only after they have appeared and qualified in the exam. Admit Card for FMGE December 2020
NBE releases the admit cards for the FMGE December 2020 exam on the official website only. Candidates must note that issuance and possession of a valid admit card is a must since it consists of information about the exam date, time, and exact venue. In addition, it is proof of the provisional eligibility of a candidate based on the information furnished in the application form. Thus, without a valid admit card, candidates are not allowed to enter the exam center.
The admit card is issued approximately 7 days before the exam date through the NBE website. Information regarding the issuance of admit cards is relayed through the registered mobile number/e-mail id of the candidate. When the admit card is downloaded, candidates have to affix their latest passport sized photograph on the specified space.
Candidates must note that the photograph must be of 35×45 mm size with a minimum of 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate. At the bottom, a caption containing the name of the candidate and date of capturing the photo must be imprinted. The photograph must be taken against a white background.
Exam Centers for FMGE December 2020
While filling the online application form for FMGE December 2020, candidates need to choose the exam centers as per their preference. Candidates will however be able to choose the exam city and the allotment of a particular seat in a particular exam center in that city will be done by the NBE. - Chandigarh/ Mohali
The exact location of the allotted exam center is intimated through the admit card only. It is advised that candidates reach the exam center on or before the reporting time which is two hours before the start of the exam. Candidates who fail to report at the center on the specified reporting time may not be allowed to take the test.

Test Day Procedures
The social distance-computer-based test shall be carried out (SD-CBT) by the National Board of Examination in a safe and secure environment using touch-free Processes that maintain social standards of distance wherever necessary. The National Board of Examinations reserves the right to review the Test day procedure of CBT in the wake of changing the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Notice regarding the Extension of the last date for submission of the applications for FMGE December 2020 Session
The last date for submission of applications for FMGE December 2020 Session has been extended up to November 05, 2020. Also, the Edit Window for FMGE December 2020 session will now be available from November 07- 08, 2020 for all candidates.

Exam Date of FMGE December 2020 Session Announced!
The National Board of Examinations announced the tentative exam date of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. The exam date of the December 2020 session is announced. According to the official notice dated September 16, 2020 published at the website of NBE, the FMGE December 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 04, 2020.
Eligibility Criteria For FMGE December 2020
With the release of the information brochure, the complete conditions of eligibility is announced by the NBE. The applicants must fulfill the following minimum conditions to apply for the FMGE December 2020 exam.
- The applicant must be an Indian Citizen or a citizen of India living overseas.
- The candidate must have a primary medical qualification, confirmed by the Indian Embassy of the concerned country.
- The cut-off date for possessing the Primary Medical Qualification on November 30, 2020.
- It is compulsory for the candidates to provide documentary proof as evidence that the candidate has passed the final examination of medical qualification on or before the cut-off date specified in the notice.
- In cases when a candidate holds an undergraduate medical qualification from Australia/ Canada/New Zealand/United Kingdom/United States of America and the holder thereof has also been awarded a Postgraduate medical qualification in Australia/Canada/ New Zealand/ United Kingdom/United States of America and has been recognized for enrolment as a medical practitioner in that country will be exempted from appearing in the FMGE examination.

How to Apply?
In order to apply online, candidates are required to register at the website at first. Following this, they can login and complete the subsequent processes of filling up the FMGE December 2020 application form and payment of the fees. - Now click on New User Registration
- Complete the registration process by entering required details to generate login username and password
- Use the login credentials to log in to fill up the application form under “Applicant Login”
- Fill up the form and upload the required documents including photo, signature and LTI.
- Choose the test center
- Make the payment of fees
- Generate the print out of the application form for future reference
A fee of Rs 6490/- (Rs 5500 + Rs 990 (GST @18%)) must be paid by candidates during the process of online form fill up for FMGE December 2020. Candidates will have the option to pay the fee using a Debit/Credit card issued by an Indian bank or through Internet Banking. The application fee, once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
Result of FMGE December 2020
The results of the FMGE December 2020 exam is declared through the official NBE website. The result indicates the pass or fail status of the applicant which is displayed on the website for eligible candidates. Applicants can easily check the result by visiting the website (natboard.edu.in). Candidates can also check their scores by using User ID and Password.
FMGE December 2020 Qualifying Marks
FMGE has specified the qualifying marks for the examination in the official notification. Those who have appeared in the examination are declared qualified only when he/she secures a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 i.e 50% marks.

The National Examination Board conducts the FMGE examination twice a year. The exam is for the screening of those candidates who have a medical graduate degree from a foreign institution and wishes for a Medical Council of India or State Medical Council registration. The exam is conducted one in June and then again in December. A Computer Based Test is held in which, candidates securing 150 or more marks out of 300.
