Geological Survey of India Recruitment 2020 Post Details and Pay Scale
Selected candidates are to be appointed as Ordinary Grade Driver for an initial probation period of 02 years. The candidates are to be appointed as Group C Non Ministerial Non Gazetted employees of the GSI. Appointed candidates are entitled to be compensated as per the pay scale of Level 2 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 19900 – 63200) as per the 7th Pay Commission.
Geological Survey of India Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The minimum conditions for eligibility of applicants are notified by the GSI in the short notice. The details of the eligibility conditions are as follow.
Direct Recruitment
Candidates having a matriculation certificate from recognized boards/universities are eligible to apply for direct recruitment into the posts. Candidates must also have a requisite drivers license for LMV and HMV. In addition, candidates must also have 03 years of work experience in the relevant trade.

Absorption
To be eligible for recruitment on an absorption basis, the minimum educational qualifications are same as for direct recruitment. Additionally, for absorption, the candidates must be from among officials holding the post of Group C Dispatch Rider. Check out the complete details below.

The applications must be submitted through the official website of the GSI i.e. gsi.gov.in. The application window is open for 30 days from the date of publication of the short notice on Employment News. For candidates belonging to remote regions, the last date of submitting applications is 60 days from the date of publication of the notice.
