Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has declared the result of GPSC Civil Services Main Exam at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in. The GPSC Civil Services 2018 Exam was held on February 17-24, 2019. The candidates who appeared in the main exam can check the same. On the basis of the main result, candidates have been shortlisted for the interview held on June 10 to 28, 2019 for GPSC Recruitment 2018. The aspirants have to undergo the Preliminary examination, then the main exam and at last interview. The main result has been declared on July 07, 2019. The shortlisted candidates have to fill online form also. Candidates shall be selected for Advt. No. 40/2018‐19, Gujarat Administrative Service, Class‐1, Gujarat Civil Service, Class 1 & 2 and Gujarat State Municipal Officer Service, Class‐2 subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.

Result for GPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2018
After releasing the answer key the Commission declares the final result for the written examination first. Like the admit card, results for each round are released separately.
Firstly the result of the written examination is declared online, then the candidate who appeared in the examination can check the result. Thereafter, the qualifiers of the prelims have to appear in the main examination. After the main examination, they are able to check their result. However, GPSC publicizes the result through the pdf file. Hence no requirements of login details.
Admit Card of GPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2018
Admit Card will be released for the mains examination. The commission issues admit card thrice for each round separately i. e. prelims, main and interview. Candidates can download the Admit card from the official website by entering the login credentials (Confirmation Number and Date of Birth). For all the candidates it is mandatory to carry their admit card on the day of the examination.
Eligibility Criteria of GPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2018
The candidates who meet the eligibility norms set by the Commission can participate in the recruitment.
Nationality: An Indian National is eligible to apply.
Age Limit: The candidate should be 20 to 30 years on July 31, 2018. However, age relaxation is also applicable here.
Age Relaxation: The candidate will get the age relaxation as per their category. The age relaxation is as follows.
- SEBC/SC/ST Male candidates of Gujarat origin will get 05 years.
- The woman candidates of the unreserved category will get the 05 years age relaxation. Where woman candidates of the reserved category will get the 10 years (but applicable up to 45 years maximum).
- Physically disabled candidates will get 10 years age relaxation.
- Ex-Serviceman will get 05 years in age relaxation but applicable up to 45 years only.
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate has a Bachelor’s degree is eligible.
- The basic knowledge of the computer is necessary.
- In addition to the above, the candidate should know the Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Like prelims, the main exam will be held in online mode. But unlike prelims, the main examination will be descriptive in nature. The exam will have the below pattern.

Scheme of Personal Interview
At last the candidates who will qualify both the rounds have to appear for the interview round. The interview will carry 100 marks. The candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks for clearing the interview.

Answer Key of GPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2018
After conduction of the exam, the Commission will release the answer key for the prelims examination. It will not release the answer key other examination because the prelims are the only examination which is objective in nature. Hence there is not a requirement of answer key for any other exam.
The candidates will able to download the admit key and cross chcek their marks marked in the examination. With help of the answer key, the candidates can get the estimated marks.
Selection Process of GPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2018
As of now, the candidates must be familiar with the selection process. But still for making it crystal clear we are explaining it here again. There are three stages of the entire section process.
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview
Preliminary Examination: The candidates have to appear in the preliminary examination which is qualifying in nature, i. e. marks will not be considered while preparing the merit list.
Main Examination: After clearing prelims the candidates have to attempt the main examination. Here the point is be noted that the main examination marks play an important role in the merit list.
Interview: The last stage of the recruitment is an interview. The candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks for clearing the interview.
