CSIR NET 2022 Admit Card – Invalid Application Number, Date of Birth is not available Error – What to do?

Candidates who are attempting the Earth Sciences paper can successfully download their admit card. For the rest of the candidates, the website displayed ‘Invalid Application Number’ or ‘Date of Birth is not available’. This is because only the Earth Science paper answer key has been released. The admit card for other exams will be released shortly.

About CSIR UGC NET 2022 Exam
The NET exam will be conducted on multiple days in 2 shifts, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Candidates appearing for the first shift will have to reach the assigned exam center by 8:00 a.m. and candidates appearing for the second shift will have to reach the exam center by 2:00 p.m. Candidates are advised to read the instructions provided on the admit card carefully, before entering the exam centre. Admit card and ID proof are mandatory documents to secure entry into the exam hall. Also, they should carry a passport size photograph with them, which will be pasted on the attendance sheet.
Owing to COVID, the candidates will have to follow strict protocols and maintain social distancing. Further, candidates are not allowed to communicate with each other. Candidates will be provided with a 3 ply mask from the exam centre. They are expected to discard the ones they have used.
Candidates can attempt the exam in one of the subjects among Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences based on their qualifications and educational background. The total duration of the NET exam is 3 hours and it consists of 3 parts. Part A is common to all the papers and covers General Aptitude questions. Part B contains subject-related Multiple Choice Questions and Part C consists of higher order questions which tests the analytical abilities of the candidates, scientific concepts and their applications. Candidates will be provided with an option to attempt the exam either in Hindi or English.
