Some Railway Recruitment programs require a candidate to perform certain physical tasks in order to advance further in the Selection Process. There are two kinds of Physical evaluations, namely PET, the Physical Efficiency Test and PMT, Physical Measurement Test. Under PET, a candidate has to perform tasks like carrying weight, sprinting, long distance running and showcase jumping abilities. Meanwhile, the Physical Measurement Test(PMT) considers the height and the measurement of the chest. The PET exam is qualifying in nature and no marks are given in this case. More information regarding the Railway Physical Test and its composition will be given on this page.
