HTET Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Level 1, 2, 3: The candidates who intend to appear in the HTET 2019 exam and wish to get Teacher Eligibility Certificate must verify whether they fulfill the eligibility criteria or not. There is no age limit to appear in the HTET exam. The candidates can give as many attempts as they wish to clear the exam. However, candidates must possess relevant education qualification with 50% passing marks to be eligible for the exam. If an ineligible candidate appears in the exam, hen his/her candidature would be canceled at any stage of the Conduction of the Examination. Furthermore, he/she will be disqualified from future examinations. HTET Eligibility Criteria 2019

Age Limit: There is no age limit for the examination.
Number of Attempts: A candidate may appear for the HTET unlimited number of times.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher (Level 1)
There are 2 conditions that a candidate must fulfill which are:
1.Passing Matriculation with:
- Matric passed in Hindi / Sanskrit. OR
- Senior Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi
2. Second criteria:
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (NCTE Regulation, 2007 notified on August 31, 2010.
OR - Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (NCTE Regulation, 2002 notified on August 31, 2010.)
OR - Senior Secondary with 50% marks with 4 years B.El.ED.
OR - Graduate with Diploma in Elementary Education
HTET Eligibility Criteria for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2)
The candidate must fulfil one of the eligbility conditions form the one stated below as per their corresponding subjects. The eligibility criteria vary on the basis of various subjects opted by the candidate in the application form:
Social Studies:
Condition 1:
If a candidate has B/A / B.Com in addition to English Then:
The combination of two subjects with 50% marks in the combination of History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, and Psychology.

- B.A / B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR - B.A / B.Com with 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, published on Aug 31, 2010)
