IBPS conducted IBPS Clerk 2017 Prelims on December 2, 3, 9, and 10, 2017. The Admit card for IBPS Clerk Prelims 2017 was available for download from November 17, 2017. The candidates downloaded their IBPS Clerk Admit card online only at ibps.in. The admit card could be downloaded until December 10, 2017. The Main exam held on January 21, 2018, and only the qualifiers of prelims were able to appear for it. The online registration for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2017 started on September 12, 2017, and the application process ended on October 03, 2017. Under IBPS Clerk VII Recruitment 2017, the candidates applied for 7889 vacancies in 19 banks. Candidates should note that the exam pattern for the Main exam has been changed a little. IBPS Clerk 2017 Admit Card
The IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2017 for Prelims Exam was available online at ibps.in. The candidates can download it from this page as well. IBPS released the admit card separately for the Preliminary and Main examination. The candidates can download their IBPS Clerk Admit Card by entering the Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth. The call letter if IBPS Clerk is to be carried as a printed copy on an A4 sheet and it must be in good condition.
Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017
The pattern of the Preliminary and Main examination is as mentioned below.
IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern: The candidates will have to attempt 100 questions of 100 marks and the details of these are as below:

IBPS Clerk Main Examination Pattern: The pattern of the Main examination has been changed. Instead of 200, the candidates will now have to solve 190 questions. The total time provided to solve these will be 160 minutes.

Negative Marking in IBPS: The negative marking is applicable in both the examinations. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

English Language: Fill in the Blanks, Reading Comprehension. Fillers, Cloze Test, Spotting Errors and Sentence Improvements, etc.
General and Financial Awareness: Static Awareness, Financial Awareness, Current Affairs, Banking and Insurance Awareness, Govt. Schemes and Policies
Numerical Ability: Simplification/Approximation, Data Interpretation, Number Series, Miscellaneous, Quadratic Equations, etc.
Computer: Number System and Conversions, History, and Generation of Computers, Computer Hardware and I/O Devices, Introduction to Computer Organizations, Computer Language, Basics of DBMS, Computer Memory and Software, etc.
Reasoning and Ability: Inequality, Puzzle, and Arrangements, Order and Ranking, Syllogism, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense.
IBPS Clerk 2017 Selection Procedure
Under IBPS Clerk 2017 the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of competitive examination. The process of shortlisting the candidates is as below:
- First, the candidates will have to clear the Preliminary examination.
- Then, the qualifiers of the Prelims will be called for the Main exam.
- Those who will clear the Main exam will be called for the document verification and final recruitment.
IBPS Clerk 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of IBPS Clerk 2017 has to be followed by all the candidates. Ineligible candidates will not be granted admission.
Nationality: The candidates should be a citizen of Indian. However, the residents of following nations may also apply if they planned to settle in India permanently.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years, as on September 01, 2017.

Educational Qualification: The candidates should possess a Graduation Degree from any recognized Institute.
- Computer Literacy – Candidate must have operating and working knowledge in computer systems. For this, Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute.
- Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT – Candidate must be able to read, write and speak the official language of state or UT. Apply for vacancies in that state of which you know the language.
IBPS Clerk 2017 Application Form
The application process for IBPS Clerk VII 2017 is now over. The candidates can, however, check the necessary information regarding the IBPS Clerk 2017 Application Form below. The application form has to be submitted before the lapse of the deadline and to submit it the candidates will first have to register. The registration can be done by clicking on “Click here for New Registration” and then by submitting the following details:
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Mobile Number
- E-mail ID
- Security Code.
Once the registration is done candidates will have to upload the images. Next step will to fill the application form and lastly the fee payment is to be done.
Application Fee: The amount of application fee is Rs. 100 for the SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates. Whereas, the same for the candidates belonging to rest of the categories is Rs. 600. The candidates can pay the application fee via online modes only.

IBPS Clerk 2017 Result
The result of the examination will be announced for the Prelims first and the for the Main examination. The date for the announcement of it has not been disclosed yet. However, the tentative months for declaring the result are mentioned. IBPS will release score and merit of the candidates in the result. Only those candidates will qualify the exam who will score more than the cutoff marks.
