IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern is released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The Examination will be held in two stages Preliminary and Mains. IBPS has released the examination pattern for both the exams separately. The Preliminary examination will be of 60 minutes while Mains examination will be of 160 Minutes. Candidates who will clear both examinations will be allocated call letters for joining in the different bank. IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern
IBPS has released the examination pattern for both the examinations. The Paper 1 will consist of three sections and paper 2 will consist of four sections. Candidates can check the Examination Pattern for both the examinations from the table below.
IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern: The candidates will have to attempt 100 questions of 100 marks and the details of these are given below:

IBPS Clerk Main Examination Pattern: The pattern of the Main examination has been changed. Instead of 200, the candidates will now have to solve 190 questions. The total time provided to solve these will be 160 minutes.

Negative Marking in IBPS: The negative marking is applicable in both the examinations. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Scores
- The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be
normalized using the equi-percentile method. - Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.
IBPS Clerk 2018-Cut-off Score
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on the number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates.
Note: Marks obtained in the main examination only will be considered for final merit listing.
IBPS Clerk 2018-Pre-Examination Training
Pre-Examination Training may be arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations to the candidates who will be belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons With Benchmark Disabilities. All eligible candidates who want to do the Pre-Examination Training should fill the appropriate column in the Online Application for IBPS Clerk Application Form. The Pre-Examination Training will be free of cost. All other expenses regarding traveling, boarding etc. will have to be paid by the candidate for attending the pre-examination training programme at the selected Centres. Depending on the response commission have the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centres and/ or add some other Centres and/or make alternate arrangements is reserved.
