Result for IBPS Clerk 2018
The Main Examination Result has been declared on the official website. Candidates who have appeared for the IBPS examinations can now check mains result by entering their registration number or roll number and password or date of birth. After the successful conduction of the examination result for the Mains Examination has been declared.
Admit Card of IBPS Clerk 2018
The admit card for IBPS Clerk main examination has been released on the official website of IBPS i.e. ibps.in. The candidates who have qualified the prelims examination can download the admit card by entering the registration number/roll number and date of the birth/password. It is mandatory to carry admit card in the examination.
Examination Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2018
The recruitment scheme contains two exams i. e. Preliminary and Main Examination. In order to be selected as the Clerk candidates have to undergo both the exam. The pattern of the Preliminary and Main examination is as mentioned below.

Nature of Exam: Objective Type
The language of the question paper: Hindi and English except for English paper.
Marking Scheme: On each negative answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Negative Marking in IBPS: The negative marking is applicable in both the examinations. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Bio-Metric Verification On Exam Centers
IBPS has decided to capture the candidate’s presence on the examination center through Biometric Verification. On each exam, the center will be prepared with all required equipment for verification.
Candidates have to participate in the process. On refusal, candidates have to bear the candidature cancellation.
Following are the instruction which candidates have to follow at the exam center during verification.
- Make your hands clean and dry before the verification.
- Do not apply any henna, ink or chemical before one week of the exam.
- If the finger is dirty or dusty wash them and make them dry.
Selection Procedure for the IBPS Clerk 2018
Under IBPS Clerk 2018 the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of competitive examination. The process of shortlisting the candidates is as below:
- First, the candidates will have to clear the Preliminary examination.
- Then, the qualifiers of the Prelims will be called for the Main exam.
- Those who will clear the Main exam will be called for the document verification and final recruitment.
Pre Examination Training for IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam
IBPS provides the facility of pre-examination training before prelims to the reserved category candidates. Such candidates who filled the relevant column in the application form to avail the facility. This training was provided free of cost. However, candidates have to bear the transportation charges for appearing the centers where the PET will be conducted.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk 2018
The eligibility criteria have to be followed by all the candidates. Ineligible candidates will not be granted admission.
Nationality: The candidates should be a citizen of Indian.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years (A candidate must have been not born earlier than September 02, 1990 and not later than September 01, 1998 (both dates inclusive))

Educational Qualification: The candidates should possess a Graduation Degree from any recognized Institute.
- Computer Literacy – Candidate must have operating and working knowledge in computer systems. For this, Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute.
- Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT – Candidate must be able to read, write and speak the official language of state or UT. Apply for vacancies in that state of which you know the language.
