IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued the Pre Examination Call Letter at ibps.in. The candidates who have filled the application form in time for PET are able to download the call letter till December 01, 2018.  After PET the bank will issue the admit card for preliminary examination. IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam

The applications for the process has started from September 18, 2018. The attentive aspirants submitted the applications in the given time frame i.e October 10, 2018.There will be two rounds, and both should be qualified by the candidates. Pre Examination Training for IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam

IBPS provides the facility of pre-examination training before prelims to the reserved category candidates. Such candidates who have filled the relevant column in the application form to avail the facility. This training will be provided free of cost. However, candidates have to bear the transportation charges for appearing the centers where the PET will be conducted.

Application Form for IBPS Clerk 2018

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk 2018

The eligibility criteria have to be followed by all the candidates. Ineligible candidates will not be granted admission.

Nationality: The candidates should be a citizen of Indian.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years (A candidate must have been not born earlier than September 02, 1990 and not later than September 01, 1998 (both dates inclusive))

Relaxation in upper age limit is as below

Educational Qualification: The candidates should possess a Graduation Degree from any recognized Institute.

  • Computer Literacy  Candidate must have operating and working knowledge in computer systems. For this, Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT – Candidate must be able to read, write and speak the official language of state or UT. Apply for vacancies in that state of which you know the language.

Admit Card of IBPS Clerk 2018

Admit card for the IBPS clerk is also called the Call letter. IBPS will release the admit card on ibps.in. The candidates who will complete their application form on time will be able to download the admit card. The call letter for the preliminary examination and Main examination will be released one by one. And the candidates who will qualify the Preliminary examination will get the Call letter for the Main Examination. For downloading the answer key the candidates have to provide the registration number and Date of Birth.

Examination Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2018

The recruitment scheme contains two exams i. e. Preliminary and Main Examination. In order to be selected as the Clerk candidates have to undergo both the exam. The pattern of the Preliminary and Main examination is as mentioned below.

Nature of Exam: Objective Type
The language of the question paper: Hindi and English except for English paper.
Marking Scheme: On each negative answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Negative Marking in IBPS: The negative marking is applicable in both the examinations. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Bio-Metric Verification On Exam Centers

IBPS has decided to capture the candidate’s presence on the examination center through Biometric Verification. On each exam, the center will be prepared with all required equipment for verification.

Candidates have to participate in the process. On refusal, candidates have to bear the candidature cancellation.

Following are the instruction which candidates have to follow at the exam center during verification.

  • Make your hands clean and dry before the verification.
  • Do not apply any henna, ink or chemical before one week of the exam.
  • If the finger is dirty or dusty wash them and make them dry.

Result for IBPS Clerk 2018

Same as the admit card the result for the IBPS Clerk 2018 will be released by the IBPS one by one for the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. The both of the results will be released by the IBPS on its website. The results for IBPS Clerk 2018 will be released online on the official website of the IBPS. Candidates who will appear for the IBPS examinations will be able to check results by entering their registration id and password.

Selection Procedure for the IBPS Clerk 2018

Under IBPS Clerk 2018 the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of competitive examination. The process of shortlisting the candidates is as below:
