The IBPS SO call letter is downloaded from the official website using your registration number and password or date of birth. It is not posted to candidates.
How to download
- Open the call letter link for this examination on the official website.
- Log in with your registration number and password.
- Check every detail — name, photograph, centre, date and reporting time.
- Print it in colour and keep several copies; you need one at each stage.
What to carry
- The printed call letter with the photograph affixed as instructed
- A valid original photo identity document — Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter ID. A photocopy is also required for submission.
- One additional photograph, the same as the one affixed on the call letter
- For the Main Examination, the Preliminary Examination call letter and ID-proof copy that were authenticated/stamped at the Preliminary Examination venue, along with the Main Examination call letter
The exam city intimation comes first
An exam city intimation slip is released a week or two before the call letter itself. It tells you the city but not the exact venue — useful for booking travel, but it is not a call letter and will not admit you to the examination.
