MPPSC State Service Eligibility

To apply for the MPPSC State Service Examination you must meet the nationality, age and qualification conditions set out in the notification.

Nationality

A candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational qualification

A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, in any discipline; candidates in the final year of graduation, awaiting the result, may also apply. Some posts require a specific qualification — check the post-wise requirements in the notification.

Age limit

For SSE 2026 (Advertisement 29/2025) the age limit is 21 to 40 years for non-uniformed posts and 21 to 33 years for uniformed posts such as Deputy Superintendent of Police, reckoned as on 1 January 2026. Candidates of Madhya Pradesh domicile from reserved categories, women and other notified groups get the age relaxation allowed by the state rules — check the relaxation table in the notification before applying.
