The RPF SI admit card (e-call letter) is released four days before the exam date, and is downloaded from the official RRB website using your registration number and date of birth. A city and date intimation slip is published earlier so candidates can plan travel.
City slip and admit card are different documents
| Document | What it tells you | When |
|---|---|---|
| City & date intimation slip | Exam city, date and shift — not the venue address | About 10 days before the exam |
| E-call letter (admit card) | Full venue address, reporting time and instructions | Four days before the exam |
You cannot enter the exam hall on the city slip. SC and ST candidates also download a travel authority where applicable.
What to carry
- Printed e-call letter
- Original photo identity proof matching the application
- The photograph uploaded with the application, where instructed
What is banned
Calculators and electronic gadgets are prohibited. Possession of a mobile phone, Bluetooth device or any wireless device — even switched off — leads to cancellation of candidature and debarment from RRB examinations.
No change of date or venue
The CEN states that requests for postponement of any stage, or for a change of venue, date or shift, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
