The RRB JE admit card (e-call letter) is released four days before the exam date, and is downloaded from the official RRB website using your registration number and date of birth. A city and date intimation slip is published earlier so candidates can plan travel. For CEN 04/2026, CBT-1 is scheduled for 27–28 October 2026 (revised notice of 2 October 2026).
City slip and admit card are different documents

You cannot enter the exam hall on the city slip. SC and ST candidates also download a travel authority where applicable.
What to carry
- Printed e-call letter
- Original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar — Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is done at the centre before entry
- The photograph uploaded with the application, where instructed
What is banned
Calculators and electronic gadgets are prohibited. Possession of a mobile phone, Bluetooth device or any wireless device — even switched off — leads to cancellation of candidature and debarment from RRB examinations.
No change of date or venue
The CEN states that requests for postponement of any stage, or for a change of venue, date or shift, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
