SSC publishes the SSC JE tentative answer key along with candidate response sheets a few days after the examination, through the candidate login on ssc.gov.in.
How to download
- Log in to ssc.gov.in with your registration number and password.
- Open the answer key link for this examination.
- View your response sheet alongside the tentative key.
- Download a copy — the link is available only for a limited window.
Challenging the answer key
Candidates may submit representations against the tentative key within the notified window, on payment of ₹50 per question challenged, which is not refunded. Challenges must be supported by a credible reference. Where a challenge is accepted, the correction applies to every candidate.
Calculating your score
Paper-I: 0.25 mark deducted per wrong answer. Paper-II: 1 mark deducted per wrong answer. Remember that the final shortlisting uses normalised marks, so your calculated raw score is an indicator rather than the number that decides selection.
