Eligibility Criteria to Fill Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020

Age Limit (as on July 01, 2020) – 21 to 27 years
Citizenship: Unmarried male and female citizens of India, Nepal and Bhutan are eligible to fill Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020. Following candidates are also considered eligible for recruitment.
- Tibetan refugees who crossed over to India (before January 01, 1962) and who intended to settle permanently in India
- POIs (Persons of Indian Origin) who migrated from any of the following countries with an intention to settle permanently India: Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam or Ethiopia.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: 3-year LLB degree, with minimum 55% aggregate marks, is required to be eligible. Also, the applicants must be eligible to register as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State.

How To Fill the Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020?
To fill the Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020, the candidates need to follow the steps provided below:
Step 1: Click on the direct link for registration available on this page.
Step 2: On doing so, the registration window opens wherein the candidates need to read all the important instructions. Next, click on the ‘continue’ button as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Now the registration form opens. The candidates have to fill the details asked in the fields and click on the ‘submit’ button. Check the image below for reference.
Step 4: An OTP is sent to the email id provided in the registration form. Once received, candidates have to enter the OTP to proceed further.
Step 5: After submitting the OTP successfully, click on the login link provided on this page. Submit username and password in the login window to access the application form. Here, fill in personal, educational and communication details as shown in the image below:
Step 6: Now, the candidates need to click on the update button to proceed to the next page.
Step 7: The candidates have to upload a recent passport-size image and signature in the space available as shown in the image below.
Step 8: After the application process ends, the candidates need to login and check their roll number. Also, they have to take 2 print outs of the Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020.

Printing of the Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020
The candidates have to carry a print out of the Indian Army JAG Online Application Form 2020 at their SSB interviews. Therefore the candidates must print 2 copies of the application form once the application process ends.
Note that the printout of the application form must have the allotted roll number on it. The candidates can access the print option under their login after the application process ends. To print the application form the candidates have to log in using their application number and password.
Indian Army JAG 2020 SSB Call Letter
The candidates, shortlisted based on the information provided in the application form, are allotted the SSB centres. The allotted SSB centres’ details are sent to the candidates through their registered email id. Next, the candidates have to book their SSB interview dates online on a first-come-first-serve basis. To do so, they need to login using their email id and password.
After above steps, the candidates can check the Indian Army JAG 2020 SSB call letter sent to them. The call letters are sent to the registered email ids of the candidates. Hence, the candidates do not need to enter login credentials to download the SSB call letter. The call letter has important details regarding SSB interview. Only those candidates who carry a hard copy of the call letter are allowed for the interview.
About Indian Army JAG 2020
Indian Army conducts the recruitment process for Judge Advocate General (JAG) branch. Unmarried male and female candidates in the age bracket of 21-27 years are eligible to apply, subject to fulfilment of other eligibility conditions. The application for the recruitment is accepted in online mode only, through joinindianarmy.nic.in. Selection procedure consists of 2 stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2, cumulatively known as SSB interview.
