Indian Army TGC Salary- Indian Army 128 TGC Recruitment notification has been released. Candidates from engineering background may apply for the Technical Graduate Course. Candidates will be first shortlisted on the basis of cut-off percentage marks obtained in graduation. After that candidates will have to appear for stage-I from which they will be tested and if they qualify stage-I, they will be called for direct SSB interview. Selected candidates will be offered salary packages fixed by the Army. Indian army TGC Salary and various allowances given by the Army to the selected candidates is given below.
Indian Army TGC Salary
The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 56,100/- p.m. On completion of training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank. The promotion from Lieutenant to Lieutenant Colonel is on time scale basis and thereafter on selection basis subject to fulfillment of requisite service conditions.

Military Service Pay: MSP to the officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier is Rs. 15,500/- fixed.
Stipend for Trainees
Stipend to the gentlemen cadets during the entire duration of training in service academy i.e. during training period at IMA will be Rs 56,100/-. On successful commissioning, the pay in the pay matrix of the official commission shall be fixed in the first Cell of level 10 and the period of training shall not be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances, as applicable, for the training period shall be paid to cadets.
Allowances
- Flying allowance: The Army Aviators serving in the army Aviation corps are entitled to flying allowance.
Lieutenant and above- rs. 25000/- p.m. fixed. - Dearness allowance: Admissible at the same rates and under the same condition as are applicable to the civilian personnel from time to time.
- Kit maintenance allowance: Subsumed into the newly proposed dressed allowance i.e. rs. 20,000/- per year.
- Field Area allowance: Depending upon rank and area of posting, an officer posted to Field areas will be eligible to the following allowance.

Mod Field Area allowance- 6300 p.m. - High altitude allowance:

Other places- Rs. 3600+ DA thereon. - Children education allowance: Rs. 2250/- per month per child for two eldest surviving children only. Applicable for nursery to 12th class.
Note: In the case of allowances specific to Defence Forces, the rates of these allowances would be enhanced by 25% automatically each time the Dearness Allowance payable on the revised pay band goes up by 50%.
Army Group Insurance Fund(AGIF): The Gentlemen Cadets of IMA when in receipt of stipend are insured for Rs. 75 lac wef Oct 01 2016. Those who get medically boarded out of Academy on account of disability, the disability cover provided for 100% disability will be Rs. 25 lac which is proportionately reduced up to Rs 5 lac for 20% disability. However, for less than 20% disability, only an Ex-Gratia Grant of Rs. 50,000/- will be paid and Rs 1 lac during the last year of training will be paid. Disability due to alcoholism, drug addiction and due to the diseases of pre-enrolment origin will not qualify for disability benefit and Ex-Gratia Grant.
In addition, Gentleman cadets withdrawn on disciplinary grounds expelled as an undesirable or voluntarily leaving the Academy will also not be eligible for disability benefit and Ex-Gratia. Subscription at the rate of Rs 5,000/- will have to be paid in advance on a monthly basis by the Gentleman Cadets in receipt of stipend and will become members of the main Army Group Insurance Scheme as applicable to Regular Army Officers. The subscription for the relegated period would also be recovered at the same time.
