Application Form For ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018

ITBP Police Recruitment Application Form 2018 has been released. Candidates who are willing to apply for the post are required to submit the application form till or before 23 October 2018. It is mandatory for the Candidates to fill all details which are required to be filled in the ITBP Police Recruitment Application Form 2018 such as Personal Details, Educational Details, contact details etc. The application form will be accepted in online mode only. If in case, a candidate sends an application form offline his/her candidature will be rejected and that application form will not be considered.

Application Fee: Rs. 100 for Male candidates of UR/OBC. For SC/ST, Females and EX-Servicemen are exempted from the submission of application fees.

Payment: Application fees can be paid through the online payment gateway. Candidates who submit the application fees with any other mode of payment then his/her form will be rejected/canceled.

ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to appear for ITBP Police Recruitment 2018 should make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria which has been laid by the conducting body. Candidates who do not fulfill the criteria will not be allowed to appear for any of the rounds of the recruitment 2018.

Age Limit: Candidates between 20 to 25 years are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a Recognized University with Psychology or Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Teaching as a subject.

Age Relaxation:

  • Candidates who are not born before 24.10.1993 and not born after 23.10.1998 are eligible for age relaxation.
  • Candidates belonging to OBC Non-Creamy Layer should present the certificate before the last date of submission of forms and certificate to be issued within the last three years.
  • SC/ST Candidates: 05 Years
  • OBC Candidates: 03 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen of UR Category will be given relaxation of 03 Years, OBC 06 Years and for SC/ST 08 Years (after military service rendered from the actual age).
  • Domiciled candidates of J&K during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 of UR will be given relaxation of 05 Years. For candidates of OBC and SC/ST, it is 8 Years and 10 Years respectively.
  • Children and Dependent Victims killed in 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat of UR category are given relaxation of 05 Years. Candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST it is 8 Years and 10 Years respectively.

Basic Medical Standard: Candidates are required to fulfill the Basic Medical Standard Category wise mentioned below.

Note:

  • A candidate should not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or any kind of squint in eyes and free from all diseases and illness.
  • A person suffering from color blindness shall not be appointed for the concerned post.

Tattoos: India being a secular country candidate possessing tattoos related to religious symbol or figures will be permitted. Candidates having tattoos on traditional parts such as an inner aspect of forearm but only on left forearm shall be allowed. Size of the tattoo must be less than ¼ of the particular part of the body.

ITBP Police Constable Recruitment Admit Card 2018

Admit Card will be issued only for those candidates whose application form will be found in order and exact date and venue of the test will be mentioned on the ITBP Police Constable Recruitment Admit Card 2018. Hall Ticket will be released on the official website i.e. www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. It is compulsory for the applicants to bring the admit card on the day of examination. If a candidate fails to bring an admit card and printed application form on the date of the test then he/she will not be permitted to appear for any of the rounds. Fresh admit cards for each round will be issued for the candidates who will qualify that particular round.

Exam Pattern For ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018

Candidates will be selected on the basis of various tests for the post of ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018. Phase 1 will have a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification.

PHASE I

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates should note that this test will be qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded for the test. Those who did not qualify this round will be eliminated from this stage.

Physical Standard Test (PST): Applicants who qualify PET will be eligible for this round. Candidates will be screened on height, weight and chest measurement.

Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the above round will appear for Documentation in which candidates have to be present with original documents along with the self-attested copies of the documents which will be retained after verification. Documents required for the documentation are listed below.

PHASE II

Written Test: The test will be Objective Type and can be both Online or Offline at the discretion of ITBP. If the exam is conducted in Offline mode then candidates have to use Balck or Blue Ball pen only to fill OMR sheet.

Duration: Written Test will be of 2 Hours (120 MInutes).

Total Marks: 100 Marks

Total no. of Questions: There will be 20 Questions in each section i.e. 100 Questions.

The medium of Exam: Language subjects will be of the same language. Other subjects in the written test will be Bi-Lingual (English/Hindi).

Subjects: Written Test will comprise of General English, Hindi, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.

Negative Marking: There shall be no Negative Marking in the written Test.

PHASE III

Detailed Medical Examination: Candidates who will be shortlisted for this round will have to undergo Detailed Medical Examination (DME) to assess their fitness as per rules laid by the conducting body.

PHASE IV

Review Medical Examination: If a candidate has been declared unfit in Detailed Medical Examination (DME) then he/she can submit a Review Medical Examination with an application form with all the required medical certificates. Candidates will have to pay Rs. 25/- as fees of Review Medical Examination (RME) in the name of INSPECTOR GENERAL (NORTHERN) FRONTIER, ITB POLICE FORCE within 15 days from the date of Issue of Rejection Slip.

ITBP Police Constable Answer Key 2018

The Answer key of ITBP Police Answer key 2018 will be released after the successful completion of the written test. Answer key will be made available to the candidates on the Official Website. It will be very beneficial for the students who will appear for the written test as they will be able to check their marked answers and evaluate them and will also get an idea whether they will be qualified for the further rounds or not.

Selection Procedure for ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018

Selection of the candidates for ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 will be based on Four Phases. Candidates who will qualify all the rounds will be recruited for the concerned Post. Merit list category wise will be declared on the basis of total marks obtained in the written test and based upon that candidates will be shortlisted for Phase III round. The Cut off percentage in the written test for General and Ex-Servicemen is 35%. Candidates belonging to SC, ST & OBC will have to score minimum 33% to qualify phase III. Candidates have to clear all the rounds such as Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification in Phase I, Written test in Phase II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME), Review Medical Examination (RME) in Phase III and IV respectively.

Tie Resolving Criteria

If in case two or more candidates secure same marks in the written test then the candidate of older age will be given preference over the other. If the tie still persists then it will be resolved by referring the alphabetical order of names in English. A candidate whose name begins with the alphabetical order which comes first will be given preference.

ITBP Police Constable Result 2018

ITBP Police Constable Result 2018 will be declared after the successful completion of all the phases. It will contain the names of only those candidates which have cleared all the rounds and will be recruited for ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018. Although Merit list will be declared after the conduction of Written test and will contain names of the candidate who are eligible for the next rounds i.e. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME). Salary details For ITBP Police Constable Recruitment 2018

Selected Candidates for the Post of ITBP Police Constable 2018 will get Rs. 25,500-81,000 (as per 7th CPC) Level-4 in the Pay Matrix. Candidates recruited for the post will also get other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance if posted in Border Areas including free uniform, accommodation, Transport Allowance, medical facilities etc.
