Karnataka TET Preparation 2022 – Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test Examination is conducted every year by the Centralised Admission Cell. The notice regarding the syllabus and the dates releases on the official website: schooleducation.kar.nic.in/. By following the Karnataka TET question papers and the books candidates can prepare themselves. There is a list of reference books suggested in this article. Aspirants can refer There will be 2 examinations to appoint candidates as Primary Teachers (class 1 to class 5) and Upper Primary level teachers ( class 6 to class 8).   • Environmental Studies
  • Social Sciences (for visually impaired candidates in place of mathematics and EVS)

Paper 2

  • Child development and pedagogy (in special education)
  • Language 1 
  • Language 2
  • Mathematics and Science or Social Science

Karnataka TET 2022 Exam Pattern

Karnataka TET 2022 exam comprises 2 papers: paper1 and paper 2 has two parts ( A and B). Paper 1 is for the primary level teaching aspirants and paper 2 is for the upper primary level teaching aspirants. Mentioned below are the details for the Karnataka TET 2022 exam pattern:

  • Bilingual question paper 
  • Objective type questions (MCQs)
  • 150 questions per paper
  • Online computer-based test
  • 150 minutes duration per paper
  • No negative marking
  • Plus one for correct answer 
  • In paper 2 candidates should either answer from the Mathematics section if the candidate wants to be appointed as science teacher. Else candidates should answer from the social studies part.

How to Prepare for Karnataka TET 2022 ?

There are 3 important this to prepare, the candidate should always remember. Firstly the previous year’s questions papers, then proper books and lastly candidates should inculcate time management.

  • Going through the previous year’s question paper is important, this will help them get the idea of how much time is taken by them within the examination and also give an idea about questions that are repeated every year.
  • Candidates should take note of the portions which carry more marks and stress on those.

Certain topics are essential. They are as given below:

  • Pedagogy is a very important topic.
  • Environmental Sciences related questions are mostly from NCERT. 
  • Science is mostly class 6 to 8 level sciences.
  • Mathematics is from class 6 to 8 level mathematics. 
  • For Social Science, there will be  20 questions on History /Geography / Social and Political Sciences.
  • For every topic there will be atleast 10 questions solely given for pedagogy-related questions.

Karnataka TET 2022

Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Centralised Admission Cell on behalf of the government of Karnataka. The exam provides an opportunity for all the applicants aspiring to make a career in the teaching field. All the students qualifying for the exam get a KARTET certificate which allows them to teach in government or private schools of Karnataka.
