Procedure for challenging Final Answer key
The candidates who had sought clarifications for Provisional Key Answers and still having any grievances with regard to Final answer key(s) and after declaration of result, he/she may further challenge the final key answers with a written request and a Demand Draft of Rs.5,000/- in favour of Co-ordinator, KSET center, Moulya Bhavan, University of Mysore, Manasagangothri, Mysore – 570 006, within 15 days from the date of declaration of KSET -2017 result.
Such candidates challenging the Final Answer Keys may mention clearly the Paper no., Question Number and the change sought in the Answer Key as well as submitting the relevant documents such as Standard Books/ Reference Material in support of his/her stand. The request(s) challenging the Answer Keys so received will be placed again before the Expert Committee(s) for re-examination of the answer key(s). In case the answer key(s) is/are corrected, the KSET will process the result accordingly and in this regard the KSET decision shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys to such candidates only. However, rest of the candidates whose results were already declared shall remain unchanged.
Note : Fee paid for challenging the answer keys will NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
Procedure and Criteria for declaration of KSET Result
This will comprise the following steps for considering a candidate for the eligibility for lectureship
Stage – I : Top 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in all three papers and secure at least 40% marks in each paper for candidates belonging to General Category and at least 35% marks in each paper for candidates belonging to reserved categories, viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non creamy layer) and PWD will be declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor by following reservation policy of the State Government.
Stage – II : Qualifying criteria for Eligibility for Assistant Professor.
