The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) result for Lecturer/Assistant Professors will be announced on the official website. KSET  2017 is schedule to be held on 31 Dec 2017. This year KSET center will be conducting tests in 39 subjects at eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka state. Candidates who qualify the KSET – 2017 are governed by the recruitment rules and regulations stipulated for the Lecturers / Assistant Professors of concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Karnataka State. Evaluation of KSET will done as per the Final Answer keys to be released by the officials. All details regarding KSET Result is provided below.

KSET Result 2017

This year KSET is schedule to be held on 30 Dec 2017. Candidates who are going to appear for the  exam can check the result through the link provided below as per the official announcement. Candidate may note that KSET will not issue any marks sheets to qualified / non qualified candidates. There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-totaling.

How to check KSET Result 2017

Step by step instructions to check KSET 2017 result is given below.

  • Applicant first log on the official website i.e. kset.uni-mysore.ac.in or open the link provided above.
  • Now Navigate to the link ” KSET Result 2017″ and open it.
  • To check the result candidates need to enter their credentials and submit it
  • After Submitting details candidates can now check their result
  • Once Result is displayed save it and take its print out

Note : Candidates are advised to keep hard copy of result for future reference

Procedure and Criteria for declaration of KSET Result

This will comprise the following steps for considering a candidate for the eligibility for lectureship

Stage – I : Top 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in all three papers and secure at least 40% marks in each paper for candidates belonging to General Category and at least 35% marks in each paper for candidates belonging to reserved categories, viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non creamy layer) and PWD will be declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor by following reservation policy of the State Government.

Stage – II : Qualifying criteria for Eligibility for Assistant Professor.

SC 15.00%
ST 7.50%
PWD 3.00%
General(Unreserved) 47.50%

Note : It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria decided by KSET is final and binding.
