Net which is a short form of National eligibility test is an entrance test required to be cleared by the candidates aspiring to be lecturers and assistant professors in various colleges. It is conducted twice in a year by CBSE on the behalf of UGC in the month of June and December and the notifications regarding these exams release in the month of March and September.
