MPSC Agriculture Service (Main) Exam 2018
Maharashtra Public Service Commission released a notification for conducting MPSC Agriculture Service Main Exam 2018 for the recruitment to fill 399 posts in the agriculture department in Maharashtra. In which 299 posts for Agriculture Officer 83 Taluka Agricultural Officer and 17 posts for Agriculture Deputy Director. The candidates who have qualified the Prelim Exam can apply for the main exam. Application Form
Maharashtra Public Service Commision has released the Application Form for the Main Exam. The applications are invited from the interested and eligible candidates. The application forms are available on the official website of MPSC mahampsc.mahaonline.gov.in. The candidates who want to apply can visit the website. Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: The minimum age limit for all category candidate is 18 years on or before 01 July 2018. The maximum age limit varies for reserved and unreserved category candidates. The candidates can check the maximum age limit from the table.

Educational Qualification
The candidates must be graduate in Agricultural or Agricultural Engineering or Utility, or any other equivalent qualification, from a recognized institution. For the recruitment of these posts, the MPSC stated that the candidate having any of the following degrees is eligible to apply.
- B.Sc(Agriculture Ecosystem)
- B.Sc(Agriculture Business Management)
- B.Sc(Home Science)
- B.Tech(Food Processing)
- B.Sc(Horticulture)
- B.Sc(Agriculture)
- BFSC
- B.Tech(Agriculture Engineering)
The candidates who are still waiting for their final degree exam are also eligible to apply for the Prelims Examination of MPSC Agriculture Service.
But such candidates who will succeed to clear the prelims, in that case for appearing in the final examination of MPSC Agriculture Service the candidate must be completed their degree before the last date of application form submission for the main exams.
Note: Knowledge of Marathi language is the must.
Admit Card
The admit card for MPSC Agriculture Service(Pre) exam has been issued one week before the prelims examination on the website. The candidates who succeeded to apply before the last date of application with the requisite amount of fee can download the admit card. The admit card is not being sent by post. The only mode of getting the Admit card is online. The candidates have to download the admit card from the website or they can get the admit card from here only. A direct link has been given here
The admit card is key to the examination hall. The candidate will not be allowed to exam hall without the admit card. The candidate has to report on the examination venue on the reporting time specified on the admit card. No candidates will be allowed in the examination hall after starting the exam.
Answer Key
After successful completion of exams, the Answer keys for the prelims examination has been released by the MPSC on the website. The candidate who appeared for the examination can check the answer keys. The answer keys have been published after one or two weeks after the exam. The candidates can cross check their answers and estimate the marks. They can estimate their chances of selection.
Result
MPSC has declared the results for prelims after one or two weeks of publishing the answer keys. The candidates can check their result on MPSC website, however, they can get the same from the “Result Page”. A direct link has been provided there as soon as MPSC declares the result. The selected candidates in prelims exams are eligible for the Main Examination. They can apply for the main examination.
Selection Procedure
The MPSC Agriculture Service recruitment has three steps. The first Step is Prelims Examination which is for 200 marks. The second step is the Main Examination of 400 marks. The third and final step is Interview of 50 marks. The whole selection process consists of 650 marks. The candidate has to clear each of the steps individually.
