Candidates willing to apply for the online examination must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria specified by the Company for the concerned post. The Company has mentioned the eligibility criteria in the advertisement of the examination. The eligibility criteria for the concerned post is as follows:
Candidates must have the required minimum qualification from a recognised University or any recognised equivalent examination such as by Central Government as given in the table below:
|Actuaries||Graduate with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others from a recognized university and has passed 4 Actuarial Papers from Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or Institute and Faculty of Actuary, UK (IFoA)|
|Engineers (Automobile)||Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (4 or 5 Years) with Automobile Engineering as a subject, with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others from a recognized University|
|Legal||Graduate in Law with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others from a recognized University|
|Generalist||Graduate in any stream with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others from a recognized University|
- Academic Qualifications as mentioned above must be from a recognised Indian Universities duly approved by the UGC or any other Indian Institutes approved by AICTE.
- The Company will have the final decision power to give preference to the candidates with post qualifications in their field of specialisation.
- The candidates must have the mark sheet/ Degree Certificate of the necessary qualification as on July 31, 2017.
Candidates must have the minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 30 years of age as on July 31, 2017, i.e. a candidate must not be born earlier than August 1, 1987, and not later than July 31, 1996. The relaxation will be given to the reserved candidates by:
- 5 years – SC/ST
- 3 years – OBC (non-creamy layer)
- 10 years – Persons With Disability
- 5 years – Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs)
- 3 years – Defence Service Personnel
- 8 years – Exiting Confirmed Employees of Public Sector General Insurance Companies.
Candidates are required to fulfil all the above-mentioned eligibility criteria to appear for the OICL Administrative Officer Recruitment 2017. In case, any candidates will found as ineligible at any stage of recruitment process then his/her candidature will be cancelled by the Company.
