How to Use RRB ALP CBT 2 Answer Key to Calculate Score

Candidates can predict their score using the RRB ALP Answer Key and the question paper. Following is the marking scheme:-

• For each right answer, 1 mark is awarded
• For each wrong answer, 1/3 of the mark is deducted
• There is no negative marking for a non-attempted question.

Calculating the marks based on the Marking scheme- Calculating the marks is simple. One need to follow these steps in order to calculate the marks

• Count the number of attempted questions first
• Then count the number of right answers
• Afterward, count the number of wrong answers.
• Subtract the wrong answers from the right ones.

Example and Formula- Here is an example showing how the marking system works, if 80 questions are attempted and 62 of them are right then- (Number of right answers) x 1- (Number of wrong answers) x 1/3 , i.e. 62 x 1 – 18 x 1/3 = 62-6 = 56. The formula is A x 1- B x 1/3. RRB ALP CBT 2 Qualifying percentage. A candidate should get a minimum amount of percentage in order to be eligible for the next stages in the Selection Procedure. Part A- In this part, there is a relaxation for the candidates belonging to the Reserved Category. Following are the qualifying Percentages

• Unreserved Category- 40%
• OBC Category- 30%
• SC Category- 30%
• ST Category- 25%

Part B- In Part B, no relaxation is given. A candidate needs 35% to qualify. RRB ALP Selection ProcessThere are three types of tests held for the RRB ALP selection, two stages of Computer Based Test(CBT)  and a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). The First Stage of CBT contains 75 questions, while in the Second Stage, there are two parts, Part A and Part B. Part B is of qualifying nature and Part A of the test shortlists the candidate for the third stage, known as Computer Based Aptitude Test. The Final Merit considers the qualification of a candidate in the Computer Based Test while giving a weightage of 70% to part A of the CBT 2 and 30% to Part B of the CBT 2.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

The RRB CBT 2 is a two part exam. Part A has 100 questions of 1 mark each and Part B is of 75 marks. Part A contains questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness. Part B has questions as per the selection of Trade by a candidate. While Part A marks are considered for shortlisting the candidates, Part B is qualifying in nature.
