Who can Apply for RPF Recruitment 2018?

Before knowing the eligibility you should look at the Important events of RPF Recruitment 2018.

Are you Eligible for RPF: Either for RPF SI or RPF Constable

The eligibility for RPF comprises some points, such as Nationality, Age limit, Educational Qualification, Physical Fitness, Medical Fitness etc. We will discuss all the questions which could arise before filling the Application Form.

  • What is your Nationality, Are you an Indian?

Nationality is the major factor when applying for this type of Government Recruitment. An Indian Citizen is only eligible for the Recruitment Process. For certifying your Nationality any Certificate issued by Government of Indian is Required and hence sufficient.

  • What is prescribed Age Limit for RPF? Is there any Relaxation?

Indian Railways has set Age Limit for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable. If you are applying for the Sub Inspector then you should be between 20 to 25 years. For the post of Constable, you should be between 18 to 25 years.

The Age Relaxation is Also applicable here. For checking the Age relaxation, you should be aware of your category e.g. SC / ST, OBC, Ex-Serviceman etc. So through this table, you will be able to map you for RPF eligibility.

  • What is the Least Educational Qualification for RPF Recruitment?

Here Educational Qualification depends on that for which post you are applying. Because the Educational Qualification is different for both of the post. Whether you should be more qualified for SI rather than for Constable. To be a Sub Inspector a Graduate candidate is Eligible, whereas for Constable you should have passed SSLC(Matriculation).

If you don’t have the Proof of Educational Qualification then you are not eligible. Even though your result for Final Examination is awaited still you are not eligible.

  • What is the Height, weight Chart for RPF Recruitment 2018?

Everything is wasteful if you are not Physically fit for the RPF. Yes, Physical Fitness is the most critical part of this Recruitment. You should satisfy the physical standard set by the RPF. Again the Physical Measurement is different for SI from Constable.

  • If you are not Medically Fit then you could lose this chance.

A person who has a medical problem is ineligible for RPF. So you should not apply if you have any of this problem.

  6. Any other bodily defects
