Rajya Sabha has invited the applicants for the Rajya Sabha Secretariat Recruitment 2017. It has released various posts for the eligible Indian Citizens on its official website at rajyasabha.nic.in The application process for the recruitment has started from July 25, 2017. It’s the best opportunity for the candidates who want to do a respected government job in Rajya Sabha with a good Pay Grade. Candidates can apply for more than one posts, but only that post which lies in the same post Group.

Candidates can fill the Application Form of Rajya Sabha Secretariat 2017 till August 18, 2017. The Rajya Sabha has set the eligibility criteria and Age Limit for the applicants. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility norms will only be able to apply for the recruitment. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the competitive examination and /or interviews.

For the selection, candidates must clear the stages of selection that involves; Preliminary Examination, Written Examination, Skill Test and Interview. To fill the application of Rajya Sabha from candidate need to visit the Secretariat Recruitment 2017, candidates need to visit the official website of the Rajya Sabha at rajyasabha.nic.in and click on the Apply Online section to register themselves. The single application form has to be filled by the candidates applying for more than one posts included in the same “Post Group”. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility norms carefully before applying for any post from the official website or they can refer Rajya Sabha Secretariat Recruitment 2017 page. However, Bachelor’s or/ and Master’s Degree is the minimum eligibility for the candidates applying for the post of Secretariat in Rajya Sabha. The candidates who find themselves eligible after reading the eligibility conditions must apply online for the Secretariat recruitment of Rajya Sabha 2017. Along with the application form, candidates have to submit the registration fee. The application form will only be submitted after the successful submission of Application fee.

Application Fee

The application fee for the candidates belonging to General Category has to pay Rs. 300/- as a registration fee. Whereas SCs, STs, Persons with Disability, Females and Ex-Servicemen does not have to pay any fee for the application.

Candidates will only be able to pay the fee through online mode only that is Net Banking/ Credit or Debit card. The fee will not be acceptable with another mode of payment.

How to register for Rajya Sabha Secretariat Recruitment 2017

The application process will be completed in the four steps that include:

Candidate Registration– Registration includes entering the basic data such as name, Mother’s/ Father’s name, Date of Birth, Category etc. Click the submit button after filling all the details in the registration form. Candidate will not be able to make any changes or corrections, once they have submitted the details. Therefore candidates are advised to check all the information before submitting it.

Personal details– Personal Details must be filled after entering the general information. Personal details will include the information regarding educational qualifications, contact details etc. It should be filled correctly and must be checked before submission.

Uploading Photograph and Signature– After the completion of the above two steps, candidates should upload their scanned photograph and signature with white background in JPG/JPEG format. The size of the documents must not exceed 500kb.

Payment– After completing all the above steps including uploading of the photograph and signature, make the payment of application fee by clicking on “Continue to Payment” button. Proceed to make payment by the above-mentioned payment methods.

The registration slip will be generated after the successful payment of the registration fee. Candidates must take a printout of the slip and retain it till the recruitment. If in case the fee payment is not done or fails due to any reason the application of that candidate will be cancelled automatically. Candidates should note that the incomplete application forms will be rejected b y Rajya Sabha.

Important Instructions for the Candidates

  • Candidates who will apply for more than one post of different post group need to submit the application fee while filling the different application forms
