How to Use RRB ALP Answer Key 2018
The candidates can use the answer key with respect to the marking scheme. The answer key will be available for both stages of CBT and for Aptitude Test (AT) also. As per the marking scheme award yourself on every correct answer and deduct ⅓ marks on each incorrect answer. There will be no negative marking for AT. The candidates can get an idea of the score they can get in CBT as well as in AT.
About CBT and AT
The candidates will have to go through the computer-based test and aptitude test according to the post they have applied. There will be held the first level and second level CBT for all candidates commonly. Then the candidates who have applied for ALP and will clear the second stage of CBT will go through the AT. The candidates can check the exam pattern of CBT and AT from below.
First Stage CBT (Common for ALP/Technician): The first stage of CBT will be of objective type. There will be 75 questions of Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. The total time will be given for 1 hour.
Second Stage CBT: The candidates who will be shortlisted by the first stage of CBT will go through the second stage of CBT. There will be two parts of the second stage of CBT. In Part-A there will be 100 questions which will need to complete in 90 minutes. Part-B will contain 75 questions which will have to be completed in 60 minutes. The qualifying marks for the second stage of CBT will be 35% for all the candidates.
Computer-Based Aptitude Test (AT): The candidates who have applied for ALP and will be shortlisted by the second stage of CBT, they will get the chance to appear for aptitude test. The candidate will have to secure a minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify.
