RRB Group D Recruitment 2018

RRB Group D recruitment drive started through the publication of a notification called CEN 02/2018 RRB Group D recruitment fills 62,907 vacancies over 16 RRBs. The RRB Group D Selection process consists of 2 tests, namely Computer Based Test and the Physical Efficiency Test, followed by a Medical and Document Verification. The results of both these tests are declared online and in the form of a Merit List. The final process involves a Document Verification, where candidates are required to prove their eligibility claims made in the Application Form. Candidates who get selected then get an Appointment Letter from the RRBs.

RRB Group D Answer Key 2018

RRB Group D Answer Key helps candidates to learn about their performance in the RRB Group D CBT examination. The RRB Group D Answer Key will help a candidate in predicting the number of marks. The Answer Key can be accessed through a login, where the answer marked by a candidate and the correct answers are displayed. If a candidate gets a question right, a green tick is displayed on the right side of the answer. One can also raise objections, if any discrepancy is found in the RRB Group D Answer Key. The discrepancies will then be taken into account and after a revision, a final Answer Key is released.

RRB Group D Result 2018

RRB Group D Result for CBT and PET will be published one by one. The RRB Group D Result will be available online and candidates will also be able to check their scorecard. Candidates who gain the minimum percentage in the CBT, will then be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test(PET). The RRB Final Result will then be based upon the performance of the CBT and the qualifying PET round. The RRB Group D Final Result will then decide the candidates who have to then appear for a Document Verification and a Medical Examination.

RRB Group D Vacancies 2018

RRB Group D CBT Exam was taken by 1.89 Crore candidates. These candidates are competing for a total number of 62,907 vacancies. Out of these 62,907 vacancies, 31889 are unreserved while 31018 are reserved, apart from these vacancies, there are a number of vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen, Railway Employees and People with handicaps. All of these vacancies are to be filled for the 16 RRBs. RRB Chandigarh has a total of 7832 vacancies, the topmost among all the RRBs. These vacancies are for 8 posts, namely, Trackman, Gatesman, Pointsman, Helpers in Electrical, Mechanical, Signal and Telecommunications and Engineering sections and Porters.
