The application fee for RRB JE 2019 can be paid through three modes, which are:

Documents and Details Required While Filling RRB JE Application Form 2019

RRB JE Photograph and Documents Specification
Application form of candidates is rejected due to incorrect photograph. Hence, it vital that candidates make sure that the photo and other documents are uploaded in specified format only.
- A colored photograph with a light background
- Dimensions should be 3.5cm x 4.5 cm
- The format should be JPG/JPEG scanned with 100 DPI
- Name and the date should be clearly mentioned
- The file size shouldn’t be less than 15 KB and more than 40 KB.
- More than 50% of the frontal face should be visible
- The candidate must not be wearing accessories like cap, goggles, etc.
Steps to Fill the RRB JE 2019 Application Form
The step by step process to submit RRB JE Application Form 2019 is given below, with images.
Choose RRB – Step 1 is that candidates choose RRB. During RRB selection, do make sure that you check the number of vacancies. Also, choose that RRB as per the geographical area where you would like to work.
Read All the Instructions: Next, the important instructions will appear on the screen. Do read it all and when done, tick “I Accept that I have gone through all the instructions” and click on “New Registration” to move forward.
RRB JE Registration -Next step is online registration. It is very important step. Details filled during this step cannot be changed in future. So, fill each detail carefully and correctly.

After entering all the details, the candidates will have to tick the ‘Declaration’ and click on the ‘Submit’ button to move forward.
OTP and Registration Number: After registration, candidates will get OTP at the mobile number. Along with it, RRB JE application number and password will also be displayed on the screen. Keep it because it will be needed in future.
Login: Now, the login will appear and candidates will have to validate the e-mail and mobile OTP.

2.Preference Details– In this section, a candidate can set the priority number in terms Designation and the Railway Zone.
3.Exam Group Details- This is the last section of the Application Form. In this section, a candidate will choose the ”Exam Group” and insert a security code.
Payment of Fee- After the completion of the RRB JE Application Form 2019, a candidate is asked to pay the fee. The candidate is given choices to pay the fee.
Mode of Payment- There are three modes of payment. Following is the list-
- Bank- Online– Fee can be submitted through the Netbanking/credit/debit card. Fill in the relevant details and then click Submit. After the submission, if the fee is successfully paid, the response will be ”Success” and if the fee isn’t accepted then the screen will display ”Failure”.
- Bank-Payment through SBI Challan and NEFT- This method is done in the offline mode. Choose the ”SBI Branch” first, then fill in the mobile number and Date of birth. ‘Click on ”Confim”, download the PDF and pay the fee at the nearest SBI branch. Wait for two hours for the payment confirmation, after two hours, login and check the Payment Status.
- Post Office- Select the Post Office of choice. Click on ”Proceed” and generate a Challan. Take a printout of the Challan and pay the fee in the nearest Computerized Post Office. Payment may take 48 hours, login after 48 hours and confirm the payment status.
Choice of Language and other additional details- After the payment of fee, the candidates have to choose the Language in which they want to take the examination. There are fifteen languages, English being the default one. These are the other languages available for the Exam- Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Fill in other details like Mother Tongue, Identification Marks etc. and move to the next section.
Details for the Application Refund- Candidates, who appear in the RRB JE CBT 1 2019 exam will get an Application Refund. The UR candidates will receive Rs.400 and the Reserved candidates will get a refund of Rs.250. To get the refund, insert the following details- Beneficiary Name, IFSC code and Account Number.
Upload Photo/ Signature- Next, a candidate has to now upload photograph and a signature image as per the specifications.
SC/ST Certificate Upload- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST Category need to upload the scanned copies of their Certificate in order to get the Travel Pass for the free Railway travel during the Examination Day.
Confirmation and Submission- Finally, confirm the ”Declaration” and submit the Application. Download the Application Form and take a print-out for future references/usage.
RRB JE Application Form Modification/ Correction 2019
One needs to be careful while fill the RRB JE Application Form 2019. RRB allows the form correction but only certain details can be edited. If an information is found to be incorrect during the document verification process, the candidature will be cancelled. A candidate needs to pay a fee of 100 to make corrections in the form.
Following details CANNOT be modified- RRB group, email, and mobile number. It is essential to be careful while filling in the details, as there is a fee charged for the correction and it can only be done upto two times. No changes will be allowed in the RRB JE 2019 Application form after the Application process closes. If a candidate changes the category from Reserved(SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Ex-SM, widows etc.) to Unreserved or OBC, then they need to pay a fee of Rs. 250 and an additional Rs. 100 for the modification.
RRB JE 2019 Application Status
After form filling, RRB opens login related to the RRB JE Application Status. This status shows if the application is accepted or rejected. An Application form can be rejected by the RRB in case of some error. A candidate can view the ”Application Status” on the website of RRB, if a form is rejected, the cause is given along with the Registration Number. Q. What do I do if the page is taking a lot of time to load?
A.It is recommended to use a 1 Mbps connection. Often there is huge traffic while filling the Application Form, causing the lags and delays. Wait for fifteen minutes or so and then proceed with the Application process.
Q. I am yet to receive the Confirmation mail for my registration. What should I do?
A. First, check the ”Spam” folder in your mail. Sometimes, because of heavy traffic, the auto-generated mails aren’t received. If that is the case, contact the RRB helpdesk.
Q.Will I get a refund of my Application fee?
A. Yes, candidates who appear for the Computer Based Test(CBT) get a refund for their applications. The Reserved Candidates will get a refund or Rs. 250, while the Unreserved candidates will get Rs. 400.
Q. I paid the Application fee through the Post Office challan mode and received no confirmation. What is the next step?
A.The confirmation of the fee paid through the Post Office Challan and can take as much as 48 hours, wait for 48 hours and then login to check the ”Payment Status”.
Q. What happens if I forget my password?
A. The password is the date of birth of a candidate.
Q. Can I apply for the RRB JE examination if my result is awaited and my degree is going to be complete in the same year of the exam?
A. No, candidates who already have gotten a degree can only apply.
Candidate who are waiting for their results are ineligible to apply.
Q. How do I know if my application form for RRB JE has been accepted successfully?
A. A confirmation page will be generated after the final submit of RRB JE application form. It indicates that the forms has been submitted. However, if RRB will notify through the ”Application Status” login mode to confirm the submission of all Applications.
Q. I made some error while filling in a detail, can I correct it?
A. It is beneficial for a candidate to be careful while filling in all the details, in case of an error, a candidate is given an option to modify the form. A fee of Rs. 100 has to be paid for modification. One can’t modify the RRB group, email and mobile number.

A. Yes, an option to check the ”Payment status” is given to the candidate. Payments through SBI Challan mode can take up to 2 hours, while payment through Post Office Challan can take as much as 48 hours.

A. Yes, the category can be changed from Reserved to Unreserved, for that, one has to pay the Application fee of Rs. 250 and an additional fee of Rs. 100 for modification.
RRB JE Admit Card 2019
RRB JE Admit Card 2019 will be issued to candidates who will apply for the examination correctly. The admit card will be available at least 10 days before the exam, on the official login. Candidates will need user id and date of birth to download it.
The admit card of RRB JE is an important document. Along with it, the candidates also need to carry one passport size photograph and a valid id proof. Roll number, center address, session, exam time and more details are mentioned on it.
RRB JE 2019 exams will be held for filling in 13, 487 vacancies. The RRB JE 2019 Exam will be held in two stages- CBT 1 and CBT 2. CBT 1 is a screening test, while CBT 2 decided the students in the Final Merit List. Those who qualify the CBT 2 will then go through a Document Verification process and a Medical Standard test.
