RRC Group D Eligibility Criteria 2019
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) carries out the eligibility and verification process of a candidate at the time of document verification. RRC Group D Nationality 2019
The first and foremost important criteria is citizenship which one needs to fulfill. Candidates should be:
- A resident of India, or
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 with the intention to settle here permanently.
- Indian origin people who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia
and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
RRC Group D Academic Qualification 2019

- Applicants should have passed Class 10th. Or
- Passed ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT / SCVT or its equivalent. Or
- Must hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Age Limit: For RRC Group D 2019, candidates between 18 to 33 years of age are eligible to apply.

RRC Group D Medical Criteria 2019
After qualifying all the three recruitment stages involved in the RRC Group D 2019, candidates have to fulfill the medical standards as well to get appointed for the post. The medical standards ranges from “A2” to “C2” category. For each post the medical standard is different. The important medical requirement is the visual acuity standard for the posts in Railway. Candidates can refer to the pointers listed below to know about the medical conditions.
- A2: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without specs (No fogging test). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 without glasses and must pass the tests of colored vision, binocular vision, mesopic vision, and night vision.
- A3: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without specs (Power of Lenses not to exceed from 2D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses must pass the tests of colored vision, binocular vision, mesopic vision, and night vision.
- B1: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without specs (Power of the lenses not more than 4D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses while reading doing some close work and must clear the tests of colored vision, binocular vision, mesopic vision, and night vision.
- B2: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without specs (Power of the lenses must not be more than 4D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses while reading or doing some close work and must clear the tests of binocular vision.
- C1: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses while reading or doing some close work.
- C2: Physically fit in all aspects, Visual standards – Distance Vision: 6/12 or Nil with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6 combined with or without glasses while reading or doing some close work.
