RVUNL AEN Result 2018: The Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. is conducting the examination in its search for new engineering talent with the excellent academic record, full of enthusiasm and who can help the company in achieving the goals in the field of Quality, Reliability and Affordability. The application forms for the same rolled out on the official website www.energy.rajasthan.gov.in/rvunl on June 14, 2018, and the registration closed on July 02, 2018. The result of the examination is applicable in five power companies situated in Rajasthan and wholly owned by the Government of Rajasthan. All the five companies (RVUNL, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN, JdVVN) have a total of 46 vacancies for the post of “Assistant Engineer” in electrical, mechanical and IT field. The candidates waiting for being a part of the power companies wholly owned by the Government of Rajasthan need to wait a little more for the announcement of the examination and the result dates, but what will make the candidates rush, who have not applied yet is the fact that the application form closes on the date mentioned below.

How To Check Result
Every company will be generating a category wise merit list in all the posts and disciplines of engineering (Mechanical, Civil, IT, Electrical). The exact way of conveying the merit list to candidates is still not known, but the expected ways of the announcement of merit lists are given below:
- The merit lists will be uploaded on the websites of the respective company.
- The merit lists will be uploaded on the official website of all the companies www.energy.rajasthan.gov.in/rvunl
- The merit lists might also be made available online through newspapers or on the notice board of the companies.
The examination will be a computer based online exam of 2 hours and shall consist of Multiple-choice Questions only. The examination will be divided into following 2 parts:
- Part A: This part has a weightage of 60% and will consist of basic questions of the level of Degree of Engineering in the respective field.
- Part B: This part has a weightage of 40% in the examination and consists of sub-parts mentioned below:
- Reasoning & Mental Ability
- General Knowledge & Everyday Science
- Hindi General
- English General
The question paper apart from the Hindi General in Part B will be in English medium only.
The shortlisting of the candidates will be done only on the basis of the marks scored in the examination and no interview will be held. There are “negative” marking for each wrong answer. The calculation of the examination score is done by calculating the score of the correct answer, then the marks lost due to wrong answers are being deducted and the final score is generated. Further, the final scores of all the candidates are made equivalent so as to take care of the minor difference in difficulties between various sets to arrive at the “equated scores”.
To be eligible for the consideration of appointment the candidate should be attaining a minimum required score in each part. The required minimum scores for different categories are given below:
Category wise merit lists will be generated by each of the companies in each discipline i.e., Mechanical, Civil, IT, Electrical on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the examination. In case of two candidates having the same score, the elder candidate will be kept on a higher rank in the merit list.
